"Great Room, Service is horrible.."
Room was really nice, really loved it. The housekeeping service is terrible.Service at the upstairs restaurant was also terrible. I was very upset when both myself and my 8 year old came back. We were both very tired and wanted to relax in our room. I had requested the rooms to be made up 4 hours earlier. When we returned they were not done. I had to […] call and the housekeeping line and the front desk could not get it together. It took another hour to get anyone up to make up our room. They did send three housekeepers to get it done faster. We waited at the restaurant and ordred a meal. The service was HORRIBLE. We go to Vegas about every 3 months for business. We may give this hotel a try again but if the service has not improved it will be the last... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Service was terrible!"
Really amateur service! They started by putting us in a room with less beds than requested - had to walk back down to complain since front desk didn't answer the phone. Second attempt - they put us in a room with a view of a solid wall - when we had reserved and paid extra for a view of the Strip. They refunded us $ for the view - but no additional […] comp for the inconvenience or the fact that we were stuck with a wall view. Next morning, we tried to make coffee - found two moldy coffee bags in the coffee maker - looked and smelled like they had been there for weeks - disgusting! We ordered room service, and asked that they bring up fresh made coffee while they bring us a new coffee maker. It took them 20 additional minutes to bring the coffee after room service arrived - the coffee maker and coffee each arrived separately over the next 1 1/2 hours. Not enough towels provided for the # of people, no room service menu (and when requested, not delivered - had to write out the breakfast order for the next morning), next morning breakfast arrived with missing items. In fact, each time we requested anything, they ended up messing up the request in some way. The only saving grace was that the pool was indoors and we were able to swim on a cold day. The hotel is off the strip and it is a long walk if you have kids in tow - also homeless people on the street. I think this could have been a nicer stay if the staff had been more attentive and used more common sense. It was not pleasant to feel like you have to spell out every single detail and make multiple calls for them to get it right. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Platinum Hotel dont know why it gets good reviews"
Only very average not suitable for vacation guests more for business people who want to spend no time lounging by a pool which was extremely small and loungers needed cleaning. The room was ok but not good quality fixtures and fittings why there is a large american style fridge when there is no-where to buy groceries? Lots of noise through the double […] glazing not helped by nighttime roadworks directly outside until 4am. Only stay if you get a very good rate. Only positive is its walking distances to Roys restaurant the best place to eat in Vegas. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Platinum las vegas"
Excellent value for money. Couldn't fault the room and amenities. Only downside I suppose, was that it took about 10 minutes walk to get to the strip. We had a strip view from our balcony, which I would recommend. Staff are very pleasant and helpful and ready to assist you at any time. Go, enjoy! We did!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
