Small casino, overall satisfied and would stay there again for the spa and small casino environment. Furnishings in room we scratched up from the cleaning staff or raucous guests.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE"
SO FAR THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO STAY IN LAS VEGAS. IF YOU ARE WANTING THE CRAZINESS OF THE STRIP THEN THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO STAY. WE HOWEVER DO NOT LIKE AT THE LIGHTS AND NOISE OF THE STRIP. IF YOU CHOSE TO GO INTO TOWN THEN THAT IS YOUR CHOICE HOWEVER, YOU ARE NOT FORCED TO BE AROUND IT AT THE RED ROCK. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE, EVERYONE IS NICE […] AND HELPFUL. THE RESTAURANTS ARE GREAT. THIS IS NOTHING BAD THAT I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS VENUE. GO AND HAVE A GREAT TIME. OH YEAH, YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT THE POOLS!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"smallish room, rude spa staff, nice bathroom"
best thing about this hotel is it's location next to red rock canyon if that is what you want to see. The strip is 25 min away. The room is small. we walked in and my friend said, "can we change hotels?" She had just come from the Venetian. We went down to the fitness center and it closed at 7pm, which was weird and disappointing, we had 20 min only […] to workout. Went to the spa the next day to be greeted by a rude woman with an english accent; she assumed we were not hotel guests and said we could not go into the spa. the spa pool is small but nice. "Disappointing"
For the prices they charged for the room I expected the Wynn's quality, but unfortunately the room was well used, the bed had a dip in it, the food tray was empty, the computer key board had no batteries, the TV remote the batteries were low which made changing channels a nightmare, was just disappointing. The steak house was excellent. For 2 steaks […] and a chicken it was a $200.00 bill including a $30.00 tip. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great off-strip hotel"
Hotel room was nice and clean. Plenty of nice restaurants inside the resort to choose from. Movie theatre and bowling located in the resort. If you want stay off the strip, it's a great choice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"My Favorite Hotel In Vegas!"
I love this hotel. They have everything you need to enjoy Vegas. Free hotel shuttle to and from the airport and the strip, a bowling alley and a Imax theater. We didn't have to leave the hotel to gamble, eat and have a good time. I plan to be a regular at the Red Rock!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel"
This is a very nice place to stay, well off the Strip. The hotel is well maintained, not very smoky, and the staff was very good. Everyone seemed happy to be working there. The bed in our room was not too bad, but had two low spots toward the edges of the bed. It is very quiet in these very clean/luxurious rooms - ask for rooms away from elevators. […] Sign up for the players club card, and you will get decent discounts at the buffet. Beware of moving the snacks and beverages inside the rooms - you will get charged steep fees, even if you don't consume them! There is a resort fee, but it was only a few dollars more than a lower quality casino's fee on the strip. This is a very nice place to stay. Slot machines were pretty stingy for me, at least. "Close to the Red Rocks"
We were going climbing in Red Rock Canyon so the location was perfect. The hotel is lovely but huge with the casino. We didn't do valet parking so figuring out where to park and how to get to the hotel from the casino entrance was not easy -- the place is huge and the sinage wasn't good. Didn't like the $25 casino fee on top of the hotels.com price […] - even though we didn't gamble. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A True Resort"
Rooms very large and clean. Nice amenities. Difficult to eat in restaurants without cigarette smoke wafting in from casino- Yuck. In order to get closed caption on TV, need to call front desk for someone to come activate it, but they don't tell you that- have to figure it out. Nice pools. $25 per night Resort Fee added when you stay there- this is not […] included in your payment to Hotels.com. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"beautiful"
Was very very nice except for a rather grumpy bartender. Discrepency in prices charged at sports bar from 1 night to another were disturbing. Otherwise staff was wonderful !!! Dont vist Coffee shop if your are pressed for time. SLOW service there but good food.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel. a 4 star off the beaten track."
Was in Vegas over president day weekend. Price were high as expected. The rooms were excellent and were clean..I just balked at the holiday prices. I am cheap...But if you dont care about the strip. its a good stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Make sure you double check your smoking preference"
We were offered an upgrade to a suite for 120.00. That seemed like a great deal until we got to it and is was a smoking suite. We then lost our reservation for a regular room, sans cigarette smoke. It was disgusting. The hotel has beautiful decor in the common areas and my friends room was nice but mine stunk and was quite beat up. I called the Four […] Seasons and found out they had newly renovated. I was offered a 2 bedroom corner suite for the same price as the one bedroom stinky suite at Red Rocks. I moved the next day. The Four Seasons is a class of it's own. The reason we chose Red Rocks is bc it is off the strip. The Four Seasons is at the very end and there is no casino, therefore no smoking period. It is great for families and clean air! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Away from the strip"
My parents live in Vegas but I've always wanted to stay at Red Rock when visiting. It has enough of the Vegas feel without the crowds and hassel of being on the strip. I was able to get a great deal on Hotels.com. The only thing was it didn't mention anything about a resort fee. Other than that it was nice, modern and clean room. I would stay there […] again. "resort tax fee"
The stay was wonderful but it would have been good to know ahead of time that there was an extra 25.99 tacked on plus taxes. There are places, I have now found out, that don't add this charge. I would have chosen one of them as we got nothing special for it. We got internet as part of it but so many hotels offer free internet so that didn't seem like […] something we should pay for. "New Years Stay"
Very nice hotel. I do hate having to pay a separate resort & valet fee. They should at least provide free WiFi now days. It was a very long walk from the elevators to our room. Not that I mind the walk but if you have any mobility or health issues make sure you make the hotel aware. I would recommend this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"real nice place"
The childcare was great! Not so great that they didn't have a place for my whole family to sit (kids included) in the casino and listen to music or relax. We always had to keep the kids moving inside the casino. It took 4 calls to get towels up to the room. The pool was closed the first day....but no heater. The pool is amazing! I love that it is away […] from the strip and that the Yard House is inside the building.....best restaurant ever!!!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"not going back"
when i checked in the hotel, I was shocked about the weight sensor in the refrigerator in the room. Even if you remove one bottle of drink and put it back, you would be charged. This sounds ridiculous. Also, the swimming pool is small, not heated enough and not open long enough for kids to swim. There are not enough elevators and it takes a lot of walks […] to reach the guest room from one end. The only thing l like this hotel is it's very quiet and i was not waken up in the morning. Love this hotel. Close enough that you can drive to the Strip to see a show, but far enough out with gorgeous views of Red Rock Canyon to be totally relaxing.
