Location.
The Grandview at Las Vegas is situated on 30 acres of land on the south end of the famed Las Vegas Boulevard, about seven miles from the Strip. Less than one-quarter mile away is the South Point Hotel and Casino, an enormous, eye-catching wonderland that houses movie theaters, a bowling alley, restaurants, nightclubs, a spa and a 4,400-seat equestrian complex.
Hotel Features.
The jewels of the Grandview at Las Vegas are five outdoor pools with waterfalls and 5 spa tubs. A children's pool and play area is available. Kids can entertain themselves in the game room while parents grill out on the barbecues right around the corner. Also on-site is a fitness room with cardio equipment, universal machines and stretching area, and a snack bar. Guests can stay connected while in Las Vegas with complimentary Internet access in the business center or stop by the business center which houses computers for guests' use. Shuttle service is available from the resort to the Strip, for a fee.
Guestrooms.
The 800-square-foot, one-bedroom suites at the Grandview at Las Vegas are furnished in cherry wood, and feature pillowtop mattresses and delicate, recessed lighting. The kitchen, living room and dining room are integrated for entertainment and enjoyment, and the master bedrooms open into bathrooms with jetted spa tubs. Each unit features a full kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, stovetop, coffeemaker, toaster, icemaker, full-size refrigerator, and microwave oven. Additional amenities include an entertainment center complete with a 36" television, DVD player and compact disc stereo system, washer/dryer, walk-in shower/jetted tub, and additional towels and bedding. Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge.

In addition to captivating casino action, Las Vegas offers a wealth of entertainment opportunities designed to dazzle you and yours. Enjoy the sights of Las Vegas from the observation deck 50 stories above the Strip on the replica Eiffel Tower at Paris. Catch Cirque du Soleil. You can also hike in scenic Red Rock Canyon, take a riverboat cruise on Lake Mead and learn about the inner workings of the Hoover Dam!
A large sundeck surrounds the 5 outdoor splash pools, one with a rock waterfall. The fitness room contains treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes, resistance equipment, and free weights.
A 64-lane bowling alley is at the hotel/casino across the street. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, with rock climbing, biking and hiking trails, and scenic drives, is about 12 miles from the hotel. Mount Charleston, about 40 miles away, has biking and hiking trails, horseback riding, skiing, and snowboarding. Tennis courts, bowling centers, amusement centers and arcades, roller and ice-skating rinks, batting cages, and more can be found within city limits. About 20 golf courses are within 15 miles, including Desert Pines, Royal Links, Las Vegas National, Desert Inn, and Badlands.

The cleanliness of the room, hotel amenities and rates per night, will get a return visit from me. Check In was fast and the quality of service was great. I would give them 4.5 star out of 5. "Grandview is a great escape from the strip"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Grandview. All their rooms are spacious suites and very well furnished. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, even when we got a little out of hand at the pool. The South Pointe Casino is literally a 1 minute walk from the Grandview, and it has everything you need from a casino. A large poker room, 2 large […] sportsbooks, restaurants, movie theater, bowling, gambling, you name it. We spent a lot of time there, and the limits are much more reasonable than the strip casinos. The one downside is that there is very little around the Grandview except for the South Pointe Casino, so taxis are needed to get most places. But with how huge las vegas is, even when you are on the strip, you are taking taxis. The multiple pools at the grandview was great, very clean, water was cool, lots of space to lay out. Waterfall is a great addition. Rooms were modern, beds were comfy. TVs were old and outdated, but we didn't watch much TV so wasn't a huge issue. This hotel is in a nice location - close enough to the strip (by shuttle or car), but far enough to relax away from the madness.
