In the foothills of the Spring Mountains, Summerlin is a planned community once owned by eccentric mogul Howard Hughes. Northwest Las Vegas is a golfer’s haven: about a dozen courses are open to the public. Red Rock Canyon offers spectacular vistas accessible via a 13-mile scenic drive and 30 miles of hiking trails. Hikes around Mount Charleston provide a welcome respite from the Vegas heat.

My fiance and I were in Las Vegas to visit family and were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a beautiful resort. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The location was good for us as it was away from the Strip. We will return there next year.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Between Sedona and Grand Canyon"
Pool was broken and it was obvious that the furntiures in the room need to be replaced.....they may have been working on that when we got there. The location is very convient between Sedona and Grand Canyon......not bad deal....would expect not to have all the perks as they proudly boast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by The Cliffs at Peace Canyon Thank you for your comments. Your review does not state when you visited, but we are not aware of any recent issues with the pool at Cliffs at Peace Canyon. It is possible that the pool was closed momentarily for regular maintenance and cleaning on a day you were there. We do apologize that the amenities and comfort of the resort failed to meet your expectations. We are quite proud of our resort and the value we offer our guests. We hope you stay with us again and allow us another opportunity to prove that we are a top choice among travelers when visiting Las Vegas.
Pleasant, comfortable, & clean place to stay. Beds were comfortable. Couldn't hear neighbors. Pool was clean. Workout room had variety. Grounds were very pretty & it was far away from the loud party goers! Great place for a quiet get-away or for your family.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent"
This was my second visit after I was so impressed during my first visit only two months ago. The Cliffs is a nice vacation get away, quiet just far enough from the busy Las Vegas hustle and bustle. I totally reccommend it for couples or families.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
