"Right where I needed to be"
My 2 night stay at The Cliffs was a very pleasant surprise. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and it was very spacious, very clean, well furnished and just what I needed. While I did not use the pool area, the grills or the fitness center, I did check them out and it was all very nice! My customer was located on the west side of Las Vegas so, The Cliffs […] had me perfectly situated and I had a very comfortable stay with them. Before my stay I had read reviews that stated that the AC/Fan unit was too loud, but I did not find this to be the case. "What A Great Find"
This wasn't my choice, but I begrudging obliged my office. Was I surprised! Yeah, this place is way west of the Strip, but it sure is nice and quiet. The unit I had was a one bedroom king with a large living room, kitchen, laundry area, dining and patio. The bed was comfortable. It took a few minutes to figure out the water arrangement in the shower […] which is severely flow limited, but gets the job done. If you're game, you can hike to a restaurant, but you're better off taking your car. Ample parking, both covered and uncovered. I didn't have an opportunity to check our the facility amenities, but there is a pool. Finally, why do hotels insist on charging for internet access? Isn't that an entitlement already? I stayed at this place several years ago. My goal was to attend a conference in Vegas - which is within driving distance - but not be near the strip - which is noisy and dirty. "Perfect for what we needed"
My business comes to vegas twice a year. Generally we stay next to the strip but end up not getting enough rest due to the convenience of the strip being right outside. The cliffs was perfect for getting our work done at the annual basketball tournaments and was better than what I had originally thought. "Lucky for underflow"
i suppose the rate was to just fill the rooms, but for me it was a great deal. I wasn't there to gamble, but instead attend a conference, so the location was convenient to west Las Vegas (Sumerlin Drive) convention centers. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I completely avoided the strip scene! This is not a hotel, but rather a place to rent […] a suite for a week or longer stay. The suite had a full kitchen with enough dishes and pans for living, with a TV lounge area, king bedroom and full bath. The suite would've been luxurious for myself and my wife; probably too small for kids also. Staff was friendly and responsive. I didn't visit the pool area in my short stay, but this sounded like the place to be. Not loud, just festive. If you get the sub-century rate, then it's a great place to stay.
