Hilton Grand Vacations Suites at the Flamingo

Staff was great. We arrived 1.5 hours ahead of check-in and staff held our bags while our room was being ready. We explored the Flamingo, ate what was dinner for our home time zone and recieved a cellphone call when the room was ready. Very, very nice room in the north towe away from the Flamingo's pool noise. There was construction next door but we […] only noticed it late one morning. The monorail is closer than advertised- a three minute walk. Ask about the quickest way there because it is mark as if it is not really an entrance. Only draw back is that there is not a in-hotel resturant but the Flamingo's is within a ten minutes walk and even better ones are within 15-20 on the strip or as close via the monorail. Read more

Everything was provided for, and the king suite was plenty large enough for 4 people. The staff was kind, but I did run into a some slight problems. The first problem was that my room was not available until an hour after their check in times. So I was forced to check me bags, and do nothing for an hour. We wandered around a bit, but there is not much […] you can do in an hour in vegas. I think they should work on getting the suites ready on time, and not forcing on time guests to wait... Half of the Jacuzzi did not work. I made the front desk aware, and they sent someone up. Later that night I came back, and it did not work still. In the morning I told them again, and I waited 2 hours for the maintenance guy to show him the problem. He said he did not think he could fix it while I was still in the room, but that he would try. We left, and came back that night to a broke Jacuzzi still. I spoke to a manager at that point who said he would have it looked at personally by an engineer. When I came back that night it was working, but still a bit too late as it was my last night there. They offered me a comp upgrade to that room on a future stay because of my trouble, which I accepted. Overall a great room, and the problem was solved. It was just a bit late for my stay The pillows were ridiculously firm also. It was very uncomfortable, and I decided to use a fresh towel wadded up as a pillow instead. Read more

This hotel is located behind the Flamingo, which makes the noise level really low. There was even construction going on out our window but we didn't even notice. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived a little before 3 pm, so we left a number and received a call a short time later. The room was large and didn't feel like the usual hotel room. Loved the […] bed, it was so comfortable. I would have liked the pillows to be a bit more firm though. We loved the tub, who doesn't like a Jacuzzi tub! The in-room safe was too small for my laptop, so we stored it in the Bell Room when not in the room. The staff were wonderful, remembered who we were. The deli located in the hotel was well stocked and had fresh sandwiches, salads and sweets. As well as frozen items and drinks. Prices were better than I expected too. Read more

I would definately go back here. The location was perfect. Easy walk to strip and it was just far enough away to from the chaos of Las Vegas. Staff were very helpful. although this is an older style hotel, it is very well maintained and the services the room provided was excellent. A short distance from the hustle and bustle of the Strip (approx 200 metres) allows for a quieter stay but still in easy access to the bright lights. A very enjoyable stay.

Loved the location, loved the price, loved the free internet, loved the awesome view! We got a 450 sq ft. studio. The jacuzzi was fantastic. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Vegas next year!

We choose this hotel because it is close to the strip and it has appartments with one oder two bedrooms. The pool is small but we just used it one evening and it wasn't crowded. It is a short walk to the strip thru the Flamingo and the breakfast at the Flamingo was really good and you get a discount in the restaurants there. I was looking for a non-gambling-hotel […] because we are traveling with kids and the Hilton was the right choice for us. The room was very clean, we stayed in a one-bedroom-appartment with kitchen and it was complete equipped with dishes, pots, coffeemaker etc. and a frigde to store plenty of food. Read more

We just loved the place and our stay. It's a great hotel. We stayed in the villa suite of the hotel (1 bed 1 bath apartment). This place was bigger than our house back home. If only we knew there was going to be a hot tub in our room before hand. We couldn't use it as a result. Staff was courteous. They had a full kitchen with cooking range, oven, microwave, […] dishwasher, fridge, cooking utensils, plates everything just like home. They even had a free washer dryer inside the apartment. Only complaint is that the showers have a glass door and the space on the corners of the door caused water to come out. But it can be plugged with a towel. We had a great time here. The HGVS is located a short walk behind the Flamingo Hotel, however the location is still very close to the heart of the strip. The room was BIG and very quiet. If you have a car, the walk to the "Guest Parking" area is a bit of a hike, but for $10/day you can let a Valet worry about all that.

Firstly, it was very very difficult to find the hotel. Perhaps partly due to the construction, but mostly due to the traffic congestion and confusion as to whether we were staying at the "Flamingo Hilton". I understand there are many Hilton's in L.V. , but it was identified to me as the "Flamingo Hilton" and so no one knew what we were looking for...either […] the Flamingo or the Hilton, which one? It should have been identified to us as the "Hilton Grand Vacations Resort...NEXT to the Flamingo Hotel, but ENTER the parking drive way AS IF going to the Flamingo...proceed until see a RED building just past the Flamingo. EEESH! what an adventure finding this place! Especially with the entrance not visible since it faces away from L.V. Blvd when approaching the hotel. Put better signs up! Also, put automatic doors at the entrance. I had to kick them open with my two pieces of luggage in hand when leaving. (a great bell hop helped us on arrival however) Even Walmart puts automatic doors in. I also noticed a person trip over a the trim of the floor board on one of the columns in the foyer. They look nice but do they have to protrude out so far? Other than that, the call centre was very well run with patient and courteous telephone customer service reps. Keep it up! They are good! The room was booked via Expedia, and the reservation system worked great. Your logistics are nicely tuned. Read more

I will definitely stay at this hotel again, great location and quieter than most Las Vegas hotels as we are not gambelers. The music from the Flamingo pool could be annoying but we did not spend much time there. They are building the Las Vegas eye behind the hotel so the exterior view is a bit of a mess but the rooms do not face that way. Small deli/coffee […] shop on the property was well stocked and also provided limited meals. We went to the grocery store and bought several things for breakfast and snacks as all units have fridges. The welcome package is usually a time share ploy and we did go, the staff did listen when we told them we were done not like the other company we did last time. Read more

What a fantastic hotel. Location is so central to everything. Right behind the Flamingo hotel it's just off the strip yet only a 10min through the Flamingo Hotel to get onto the strip. The room was very clean, spacious and perfect for the 4 of us. Comfortable king size bed in bedroom with spa bath which was great to relax in after a long day of walking. […] Queen sofa also comfortable, a little on the firm side but solid. Both rooms had TV and a great kitchen with all the mod cons. Climate control AC. Staff all friendly and helpful. On site was a mini store with food to purchase. If over 21 you had use of the Flamingo pools. Right behind the Hilton was the monorail stop, good to get from one side of the strip to the other. At the front of the Flamingo was the Deuce bus stop to also get you up and down the strip. It was great not to be in a smoke filled casino hotel and away from the hustle and bustle yet still so close. Plenty of food options around close by. This hotel is so central. Across from Flamingo is Caesars Palace and Bellagio and to the sides close by is Paris and Venetian. Would definitely stay here again. Read more

Hotel was OK. It is a bit tired and in need of refurbishing in the hallways. It was disappointing that when I booked I said there were 4 people my brother, myself and my teenage son and daughter. We would require an extra bed. This was meant to be confirmed but of course we arrived and it took some phone calls - about 3 to actually get a bed. It was […] disappointing that there was no offer to make up the bed, just bedclothes shoved at us so we could do it ourselves.
