"Not what I expected"
Turns out this is an extended stay property with lots of long term tenants. Was constantly worried that my car would not be in the parking lot when I woke up. The extra $5 due on check-in was a surprise. The extra security patrols available on request did not ease my discomfort. Carpets in the room were old and worn out, bathroom was small and dirty. […] Kitchen was nice but did not have anything but small microwave and full size fridge. Overall the rooms were big with lots of closet space. If you are looking for a long stay hotel next to the race track this might do nicely if you aren't looking for anything fancy. Pool area and weight room are nice. Cont breakfast was minimal at best. The hotel was adequate only. The breakfast advertised is terrible and not worth mentioning in the ad. When I made the reservation, I thought I knew what I was paying. This was not true. "Clean, Reasonable, and Outstanding Service"
For the price, you cannot find a nicer hotel stay. The room was "roomy" and clean. The staff was extremely professional. I would highly recommend staying here. It's in the perfect location if you plan to go to the races - as a matter of fact, I found out that the fire crews for the racetrack stay here on a regular basis.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The room was right outside of the base and off of the craziness of the strip... it was in a decent area. The room was nice and accommodating... Bed separate from the living area with a small kitchen... a good pool and spa... also the continental was pretty good... cold cereal, oatmeal, donuts, waffles, oranges, juice (apple and orange), milk and coffee... […] all in all a good place... The only Con was the used washcloth in the upper corner of the shower.. eewww.. but if you're like me and bring your own antibacterial spray for everything, your own sheets and pillows... shower shoes etc... it's liveable! "Hotel website pictures are not what they are"
Pictures on hotels website are not what they really are. Beds are old and worn out. Carpet is really old. Bathroom looks old. Horrible hotel condition. This hotel was located far out in the ghetto, in a somewhat industrial part of town. It appeared that many of the tenants were actually living in this hotel, there were people bbqing on the patio across from us. The hotel didn't look like the pictures. We were told the pictures were about 8 years old. We ruined many socks becuase your feet stayed black from the carpet. Staff was friendly.
