"It's Good and Bad..."
Down Side: The staff is rude and unaccommodating, except for the day time valet staff which were very nice. The food is terrible... and $4 for a coke by itself is a bit ridiculous. My room took far too long to be ready, and when I did finally get a room it was above the night club, which didn't stop pounding house music until 8am. Up Side: The hotel […] is very cool, it is a really unique experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. This hotel would be great if it weren't for the staff, food, and noise. "If you want to sleep don't stay here"
A deaf person couldn't fall asleep in these rooms. The bass and overall noise from the night club downstairs was incredibly loud until 630 am. I called front desk at 345 to ask how much longer the music would be blaring and he said 8am as if I should have known and I was weird for wanting to sleep before then. He said sorry and that I could speak with […] the manager the next morning. Its now three days later and i've called three times looking for him aand not received a call back yet. "Amazing different kind of place"
It was one of the most unique hotels I have stayed. Loved it and would stay again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very interesting place to stay!!"
Not your typical Vegas casino experiance - no on-site gaming. Be aware that the bar is very busy most nights and this is not the quietest place in the world. Also, try to stay away from the highway side of the building especially on the upper floors, the road noise is excessive!! Other than that, plan on a very unique experience. Very nice pool area. "Nasty hotel!! Just gross!!"
I had a room giving to me that was horrible and Nasty. Hair in the tub!! Then they switched me to another room that was even worse!! The pillows had white stains on them.. Every piece of furniture there was dusty!! Just horrible!! Then the guy up front had nerve enough to tell me there just gonna refund my money cause they don't meet my standards!!! […] Your absolutely right you don't!! I wouldn't dare come back here!! Ever!!! Stay at your own Risks!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"No sleep, No hot water"
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in Las Vegas...BUT, I was trying to sleep and get a shower every morning. IF your goal is to party until 8AM, this is your place! However, if you want any sleep or a hot shower, pay the money and stay elsewhere.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Impressed by the staff, not so much by the guests"
I really loved the Artisan's decor and personality. It is a small boutique hotel with floor to ceiling art and gargoyles and over the top decorations. The staff was fantastic and helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The room was stylish (I got the Salvador Dali room), and clean. The problems: This is a "party" hotel, so the guests came […] in at 2am screaming and yelling and I could hear EVERYTHING my neighbors were doing all night long. The doors slam very loudly, so all night every hour or so your room will shake with the sound of a door slamming. The location is off the strip and not on the monorail line, but it was a $15 taxi ride to the strip. The area it is in is a little ghetto - I WOULD NOT walk around. "great hotel, horrible noise problems"
Great and eclectic hotel with superior service. However, one of the worst nights sleep ever. The noise from the street and freeway never ended and the hotel is NOT sound proofed. Also, the neighborhood isn't great. Some pro lems with the AC as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nightmare"
I could not get any sleep with the club going on downstairs all night till 7am. I could hear the bass all the way to my floor, the 4th floor. What a nightmare. Never again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel"
Love The whole theme and The rooms are beautiful... The location of the hotel, is the only drawback of the entire experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
If you are wanting to sleep, this is not the hotel!!! Music is going all night and I could hear it from the 5 th floor Avery clearly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"What happens in Vegas should Happen at the Artisan"
If you are a Vegas traveler and have done the big hotels on the strip, try the Artisan... Edgy boutique hotel with a good restaurant and a bar that is a must not miss. Check out the web site and see if you like it before you book, it's not for everyone. It's for those who want what happens in Vegas to stay in Vegas experience without the tourists and […] their children. Unlike the casino hotels, the staff is really nice and go way out of they way to accommodate you... I can't say enough good things. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Non Smoking Hotel"
This Hotel is Small and off the beaten path. Great room rates. It is not on "The Strip". Super easy off the 15 Hwy and Sahara Blvd., with valet shaded parking right at the front door with only 20 steps to the elevator. Dark lobby with art hung everywhere. It is an older hotel. Non-Smoking throughout. It is not a gambling hotel per say and i did not […] see a slot machine but there may be one somewhere. Each room has a different artist motifs. We stayed in the Andy Warhol room. My wife and l enjoyed it and will stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"artisan hotel"
Besides not having to sleep any of the nights of my stay, the room was a complete mess. The smoke alarm was uninstalled hanging off the wall. The staff didn't seem to nice. On my last nite all my belongings were gone from my room because the maid thought I checked out. Obviously a mess in their process because I never wanted to stay an extra night. I travel to Vegas once a week. I have found my new home. Very different hotel...but ton of character. I really enjoyed the staff and the hotel itself.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not on the Strip, But Fabulous Just the Same!"
First, this hotel is a STEAL. I got a great rate and on the weekend even! The hotel is beautiful, with a bar that is outstanding! Plush chairs, great artwork and a very generous bartender. The beer was so cold I never wanted to leave (and much cheaper than any hotel on the strip)! The room was fantastic as well. I had problems keeping the air regulated, […] but didn't need to call anyone. The bed was so comfortable and the room was just decoratedly awesomely! I loved it! I read other reviews where it was loud, but it didn't bother me at all. I could hear music, but I was able to read, talk on the phone and do some work all without it interrupting me. It was so minor. The thing I would most like to emphasize about this hotel is how GREAT the management and staff are! It was worth it to stay here just for them! So accommodating and just genuinely nice. I will never stay at another hotel in Vegas again but this one! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Unbelievable Staff"
The Artisan Hotel in Las Vegas was a unique experience. This was a fun and comfortable hotel. I loved my Andy Warhol room. The staff was fun, attentive, professional and beyond compare. I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Likely won't return"
This hotel has so much potential that it just doesn't live up to. The artistic feel of the hotel and rooms is awesome. Each room is decorated by a different artist. The aesthetics are really cool. However, coffee delivered to my room was brought in styrofoam and was horrible tasting. The milk for the coffee was brought in a plastic container that would […] be used for condiments. Did I mention that horrible coffee cost me $12? Food in the bar was brought out on a plastic plate with plastic utensils. I would expect this if the prices were cheap, but they were not. Oh, and the location is great if you want to be in close proximity to the strip clubs. Overall I was not impressed and I don't plan to return. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Inconsiderate Management"
We stayed at the Artisan, unbeknowest to us that an all night RAVE party was scheduled in the hotel. Even though we were on the 4th floor, the noise from 3am to 7am was horrendous. I assumed there was a night club nearby, had I known the hotel took a reservation for an all night party, I would have complained. Upon check out, (no Manager around) the […] staff admitted the all night party transpired. Upon leaving the hotel, I noticed vomit in the hotel hallway. What kind of inconsiderate management would allow a couple in their 50's to stay at their hotel, knowing an all night RAVE party was reserved for the evening?! Shame on the Artisan! Appalling! Thanks for nothing! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Suprised"
The hotel was surprisingly nice considering it is surrounded by strip clubs and right against the freeway. We first pulled off and looked at the area we were kind of put off. But once we pulled into the gates of the hotel it was like pulling into a privet club, very upscale with great style. The valet parking is mandatory and does cost you a few bucks, […] but the parking area is very small so I understand why they only offer valet. The inside of the hotel is amazing, with over the top decor that blends art with old Las Vegas and European themes. Our room was clean, at the price point we were kind of wondering what we would get, we have had some low cost hotel rooms in Vegas, but this was on par with rooms I have paid much more for. Clean, great style, nice flat screen and a good size. The staff was friendly and the entire experience was great, for the price I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Too cool for school"
It has been a very rare occurance that I have ever written a negative review but I must say The Artisan did not win many points. #1. I booked 2 bed room as we were a party of 3 which was obvious at check in but they gave us a 1 bed room so I had to return to the desk to change it. The desk clerk said "Oh, I knew you would be right back". #2. Our toilet […] didn't flush right and soon didn't flush at all. We were in such a rush to attend the event we came out for we didn't have time to get it looked at so the following morning we had no toilet. #3. Valet parking is MANDATORY (on weekends I was told, just my luck we were there on a Saturday) this means you must TIP your valet driver every time he gets your car even though you can walk to it and get it yourself. #4. The Artisan turns into a late night rave club and you can here and FEEL the music pounding in our room til 7am. #5. I had huge resistance from the valet once returning after the event I attended at 5AM Sunday morning. They told me we couldn't park there because the valet was full but there isn't any other parking in the entire area. We had to PROVE we were staying there in order for the valet to park our car since it is MANDATORY valet service. #6. Once the 3 of us got to the front of the hotel door we were told be BIG bouncers we couldn't get in. I'm like... "I'm staying here!" so they switched us to another line with another BIG bouncer who just starred down at me shaking his his. This guy had some bizarre power trip. I said look, it's 5AM all i want to do is go to sleep! He told me I can't enter I had to prove to him we were staying there yet again by digging out my room key. #7. We could clearly hear people "getting it on" with all the details as we walked back and forth to our room from the elevator each and every time. Thin walls? I will never in a million years stay at this hotel again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
