"Now I know why the room was so cheap"
They put us on the second floor with a pool view. At first I thought it was great because the view was beautiful, but then the music started. It went from 9-9, so even if I wanted to lay down and take a nap in the afternoon it was pretty impossible. Also on the second floor are all the administrative offices, which would have been fine, but two admins […] decided to have an argument in the hallway for over an hour when we were trying to sleep. Very frustrating. The beds are the best ones ever in a hotel, but you can tell maintenance is lacking. Small thinks broken or not working got to be annoying. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel but was not aware of addt'l hotel fees"
The hotel stay was awesome. However they charge you a fat hotel fee when you check in AFTER already paying for it on this site! so the price on this site is really misleading because you end up paying about half of what you originally booked it for ON TOP OF what you already paid!!! Sneaky if you ask me!! Very disappointed in that area. Not with the […] hotel, but with how this site mislead me. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bring Your Earplugs if You Want Rest"
We had fun but this is definitely not the hotel to stay at if you are wanting to rest. The room was not soundproof and so every conversation in the hallway sounded like it was happening in our beds while we were trying to sleep. Also, planes flying overhead ever couple of seconds also wakes you up very early in the morning. We had to go to the spa just […] to get some quiet time. Also, because this hotel is off the strip, you will be taking taxis everywhere. We did like that the room was large and that there was a convenience store across the street. There were also good food options right on site at the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Underutilized Asset"
The Hard Rock is great facility with a fun theme and great rooms. Unfortunately its not a great hotel but could easily be. Too bad their employee don't understand hospitality and how to provide a positive guest experience. I found that a every department and at every level. Its always about the people, the ones you employee and the expectations you […] give them. Management could really improve this property by focusing on how the staff views guests delivers service to the customers. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Less Than Expected"
The hotel overall does try to meet all your needs. However, you must pay for everything. They nickled and dimed you to death. You are forced to eat in there restaurants or go off site to eat. Don't bother bringing back any leftovers, because there is nowhere to store them. Housekeeping on the floors that had bedrooms left much to be desired. The elevators […] were always filthy and the hallways. We saw dirt that remained there our entire 8 day trip. You will be better off staying at one of the traditional hotels and visiting the ones with the Casinos and Club/Show entertainment. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
wish i would have known about the 22 dollar per day plus tax hotel usage fee that was added on to my stay. Actually Hard Rock demanded it. Had to put a deposit on the room too, for incidentals tht we didn't use. Highly overrated and not at all what we were expecting. "Not all that"
The room was clean, but the bathroom was rather small. There was only one sink and it was hard for the both of us to be there at the same time due to the cramp quarters in the bathroom. The resort fee of around $23 per night seemed too high for a hotel that's not on the strip. We were also given voucher's for a free show during our stay, but were told […] we could not redeem them during our visit because the showroom was being used for some other event (March maddness I beleive), they didn't give us some alternative show to attend or some type of comp; they simply said they were sorry. "Lacking in customer service, lose the attitude HRH"
The HRH front desk staff is severely lacking in customer service. A large group of us all arrived separately, checked-in separately, and all had the same experience while checking in with different individuals at the HRH tower with rude, unhappy employees. Upon check-out and various other questions during the trip I decided to use the main front desk […] at the Hard Rock and found everyone I encountered to be very helpful and accommodating. I have stayed at the Hard Rock many times and this was my first bad experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel was ok, the older rooms I stayed in where in ok condition, besides when you looked down onto the roof below and saw the used condoms, beer bottles and other trash tossed from the balcony. "nice hotel but horrible housekeeping"
We stayed there for one night. arrived late and were very happy with the hotel decor and atmosphere. We waited for two employees to finish chatting a personal chat to be checked in. When we got to our room the bathroom was dirty. The floor wasn't clean, and there was a disposable razor left on the floor. The end table looked like someone had spilled […] soda or something on it and was left dirty. the room service menu was covered in spilled sticky something. But the beds were clean and very comfy. When we told them at check out all they said was sorry we will tell the housekeeping manager have a good day. I would give it another try but if it was dirty again I put up more of a fight. Air conditioning/ Heating problems; woke up at 3:00AM with heat blasting and no way to shut it off. Had to have an engineer in the room at 3:30AM with the 1st da of m trade show starting the next day.Resort fee of $22.00 with a closed swimming pool. The are very defensive about this when ou complain and point out that the fee is for use of the spa, […] internet svcs and gym. "Nice Improvements but Resort Charge is BOGUS!"
I've stayed at the HRH many times over the past decade. The new towers are a nice improvement. The old rooms and casino floor were looking dated. I stayed in the Paradise tower and found the room to be very clean and comfortable. There were the usual amenities including flat screen tv, iPod/alarm clock, plenty of outlets for electronics, an in-room […] safe, ice on every floor, and personal care products that are a great improvement over what used to be offered. My only complaint with the HRH is the $25 a day "resort fee." It provides you with free wi-fi, access to the fitness center, free calls (who uses a hotel phone these days?), and shuttle service to the Mall on the Strip. BIG DEAL. It doesn't provide access to the spa, and THE VAST POOL IS CLOSED IN FEBRUARY! I wish they would simply include the fee in their quoted rates. Be warned. To be fair, they state that the fee will be included on their website or added to the "paid in full" terms of hotels.com. Didn't try the new restaurants, but Nobu is still there and still wonderful. Give it a try, but remember the extra $25 a day. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"there is a lot better choices"
We had a Mountain View room and we could see one hill top and the rest of our view was air conditioners. The room was beat up by past guests and was in disrepair. HRH is off the strip and the price is still high. Most other off the strip hotels are much less. We were not impressed with HRH and will not stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Public areas great - Rooms? Feh."
I booked the Hard Rock because we were going to see The Who at The Joint. The lobby, restaurants, casino and other public areas are great - all kinds of memorabilia to look at, but once you get into your room in the Casino Tower? Blech. Our room was run down with broken fixtures in the bathroom and torn sheets on the bed. The housekeepers just threw […] toiletries on the sink. The floors didn't look like they had been cleaned in quite awhile. So disappointed. Will be writing to the hotel manager about this experience. Really kind of ruined the whole Hard Rock experience. "OK place to stay"
Stay here if it is the summer and you want to use the pool or are going for a specific concert. Do not stay here if you want to gamble or have options outside of your hotel. We stayed in the HRH all suites tower which is a good amount of space for the price & the beds were comfortable, other than that there is nothing to recommend. I have no idea how […] this is a new tower. The couches were badly stained, some light switches do nothing, the iPod dock took a full day to load the information from my iPod, the TVs were so bad that we could not see anything when the back ground was dark (we had a movie refunded because of this), they charge $20 a day for refrigerator, in a suite. In the poker room you were lucky to find one table running, yet for some reason they think they should run 1-3 games as if they are a popular destination. The famed bar in the middle of the casino was empty and certainly has lost any reason to be considered a good place to meet women. One last positive, the food is really good here. Culinary drop out is great, the 24 hour diner is also very good. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Watch for hidden fees!"
Watch out for hidden fees. I booked my room with Expedia and have never been hit with $300 in additional fees the day after I checked out. I called the Hotel and was told that they were customary charges. I will not be receiving a credit for the "$30 per day resort fee" and now I am waiting for a call from accounting since there is no one in accounting […] on Saturdays..... In a major Las Vegas resort? Really? I was charged a manditory inernet fee of $25 which I want refunded because AOL dial up from 1995 would have been faster and more reliable. Do not believe the advertised price because it will not be so. My very exciting $40 per night turned into $125 per night. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Very let down!"
Upon checking in, I was told I wouldn't be checking into a king bed room but rather two queens. As I was traveling alone for business, I really didn't need the two beds. Not such a big deal. When I got to my room, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and a blood stain on one of the white blankets. Disgusting. I called to have the sheets cleaned […] and toilet paper sent up. The toilet paper arrived almost immediately. Nobody came to change the sheets. At about 9:30, I figured I would just sleep in the other bed (now very glad I had two beds!) and have them change it the next day. I put out the do not disturb sign and shortly after received a phone call saying someone was there to change the sheets. Since I was already in bed, I told him that I had called hours ago and at this point, I'd just like them to do it the next day. He wasn't even apologetic- just told me they were very busy so it took a while. I would think a blood stain would receive prompt attention. Apparently not. While I've stayed here before and really enjoyed it, I'll definitely think twice about staying there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Ok but not the best"
Even though we asked to be in a non smoking room it wreaked of cigarette smoke the entire time. None of the employees seemed content to be there and rarely (if ever) made eye contact. And mind the "resort fee" When we checked in, I was told the "resort fee" was for our entire stay. Upon checking out though, I noticed that we were charged EVERY day there […] and taxed on it. So, instead of a $22 fee, (which I was fine with) we had a $71 fee. Not too happy about that. We chose this hotel for the rate but we unaware that it would be an additional $24 a day. Misleading indeed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not for those who like their rooms brightly lit"
Room was dimly lit. Guess its part of the vibe. 'Resort fee' at vegas hotels is a pet peeve. Fitness center was closed, 'cardio room' was a poor substitute, 'resort fee' should have been discounted. Food at gastropub was a bright spot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pretty good, but kind of an island."
I enjoyed the amenities that were available to me. However, because of the season and mid-week timing, my options were limited. I had two full days to enjoy Vegas, but there was NOTHING happening at the hotel on Tuesday and Wednesday. The pool is even closed due to the season. I mean not even a hot tub was allowed to be used. The big 'GYM' was CLOSED???? […] I had the option of using the cardio gym in a tiny room with no TV's, wieghts, or even a place to stretch. I now see why the hotel rates were so good. Lastly, if you wanted to head out and see some sights, you have to walk at least a mile to the strip or ANYTHING that isn't run down and seemingly ghetto. Their so called shuttle on takes you to one place. Not a bad place, but it is clearly set up for you to spend your money at their casino and not the neighbors. On T and W there was absolutely no entertainment either. The room were really nice and I had no problems with the hotel itself. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
