I was staying there for only a night since I had some meetings scheduled in Vegas. I was going to reach late and leave early so I figured I can stay in a decent and relatively cheap hotel. Hotel room was great but carpets in common areas and elevator were not clean and stinked a little. "Never, never, never stay here!!"
We were given a room that looks right out on to Fremont street, which we though was pretty cool, until we decided to turn in for the night at 10:30 pm to be ready for our business meeting in the morning. The room was not properly insulated and ALL of the music and noise from Fremont street was blaring in our room. We called down to ask about this and […] were told that normally people went to sleep later, so it shouldn't be a problem. The music was going to go until 1:00 am! Then we asked to be moved but they told us they had low inventory, so they would probably not be able to do that. After a migraine inducing hour, they finally moved us to a new room that was on the opposite side of Fremont street, so we were finally able to sleep. The following night was quiet as well, but we were awoken in the morning at 7:00 am by....something! The pipes in the wall by the bathroom were going crazy or something and it was a loud groaning, stuttering, shaking sound that was quite concerning. I called down and was told someone would come up to look at it, but no one ever did. Thankfully it stopped after about 20 minutes and we got the heck out of there and didn't look back!! "The Plaza Freezes You, Trains Keep You Awake!"
The room was cold because they did not have any thick blankets on the bed to keep you warm. So the you had to turn on the heater, but the heater smelled so bad I had to turn it off fast. I was there for three days and house keeping did not clean my room for two days. I had to call housekeeping to clean the room. I also requested a room on the other […] side of the hotel to avoid hearing the bands playing from the Fremont experience.
