I was little worried when we got there that there would be no relaxing - the usual Vegas craziness, noise, too many people. "Everything but a Clean Room"
the room in the Rush Tower was amazing great Rate as wel. but the only downfall was that the housecleaning staff and Bell Service was not on top of things. I called for a Laundry pick up, was told they would be up within the hour. and they never showed. So i had to walk across the Golden Nugget to drop off my laundry. And then after our first night […] there, we left from breakfast around 11 am, came back around 1:30 pm and our room had not been cleaned. Called for housekeeping was told they would be up to clean the room. We left around 2:30 and returned around 6:30 pm and the room was still not cleaned and we had to call a 2nd time to have them send someone up. Once they finally did clean the room it was a half hearted effort to clean it up, trash was left on the counters and the couch. Needless to say i was beyond disappointed. "Easy access to the Smith Center"

We love The Golden Nugget. We stayed there for the novelty of it a few years ago and just fell in love with it. We only stay on floors 16, 17, or 18 but those rooms are priced very, very well! Coming to Vegas since late 70's and this was our first stay at the Golden Nugget and the downtown area. Great location and excellent accommodations at a reasonable price. Room was clean, large and hotel staff extremely accommodating . Gaming was great and everyone seemed to be having much more fun in this area than on the strip. Only drawback for ALL […] gaming establishments in Vegas is the second hand smoke issue. We even asked for a no smoking table at another casino and were refused.
