We went on family trip to see a concert. Most family stayed at MGM paying much higher. The Hampton was literally over the freeway just off the same street - Tropicana. It was perfect. I liked that we did not have to stroll through a casino in order to get to our room. Also, the included breakfast was very good. The room was small but clean. The bathroom was clean; nice, spacious counter. If you don't mind a small sliver of a window for exterior light, the room was sufficient. However, the beds were tiny! My 4-year old and shared one bed and I thought she would fall out in the middle of the night. The hot breakfast was nice and convenient. With a relatively high guest rating I was expecting this hotel to be clean and comfortable, but instead it was quite the opposite. My room wasn't very clean. It had dirt and crumbs all over the floor and the bathroom in my room was dirtier than the "public" restrooms in the hotel's lobby. The shower curtain was falling down, the floor and surfaces had […] a sticky residue on them and the A/C (which you NEED when you are in Vegas) made all kinds of loud and annoying noises, ensuring that I would not get a comfortable rest. I did not want to stay at a resort hotel but after this experience I would probably shell out the extra dough and stay at a resort. The surrounding neighborhood by this hotel is just as ghetto as the hotel itself so don't think you'll be walking around much, especially after dark. A positive note is the free breakfast - it was generally good, but nothing special. Read more

Its a very nice hotel, only 10min walk to the strip. But not a good neighbourhood. Very friendly staff. Clean room and a great pool area. The gym is ok. Will stay there again...

Good Hotel at reasonable price and located few blocks away from Las Vegas Blvd. It has a large parking lot. You can even have breakfast every morning by the pool. There is a convenient food store few steps away.

the location is really close to the strip but not walking distance. the room was ok..the sink in our room was cloged and the shower was kinda gross. the beds were ok but i couldnt sleep because the AC went out around 7AM and it was WARM..it came back on 2 hrs later. the free breakfast was good. hot and cold buffet style.

comfortable rooms and beds. Limited space for eating breakfast. Water got past narrow shower curtains and allowed water to get onto floor. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

THIS WAS A VERY NICE HOTEL. EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS VERY GOOD. THE SHUTTLE SERVICE WAS OK WE HAD TO WAIT OVER AN HOUR FOR THE SHUTTLE WHEN WE TOOK OUT RENTAL CAR BACK BUT THEY EXPLAINED THAT THEY WERE STUCK IN TRAFFIC. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY GO TO THE AIRPORT THE WAY THEY GO. YOU CAN TAKE THE INTERSTATE AND GET THERE A LOT QUICKER […] BUT I GUESS THEY HAVE THEIR REASONS. Read more

The desk clerk who checked us in was not very welcoming. When we went to our room, it looked very nice at first glance, but the underside of the toilet seat was covered with dry urine. It made us question the cleanliness of the rest of the room! The pool was nice. We had to leave in the morning before trying the breakfast. The beds were comfortable, […] but are only full size, so a little cozy for two people. There were prostitutes out front in the morning. Charming. Hampton Inn in Las Vegas was so close to the strip and all the sights we were interested in seeing. We enjoyed getting to watch the World Cup in Soccer last Sunday morning and part of the afternoon. Staff allowed us to have a late checkout so we could see the game in the comfort of our room, even though the game was on downstairs in the bar. We had 3 days at the Luxor, just to experience being on the strip, but for us the Hampton Inn was much better. If you're not bothered about being in a casino hotel, and want a place you can stay that is quiet whilst still just a walk to the strip, then I would recommend the Hampton inn. The room was really nice and clean and spacious too - it also had […] a good TV with HBO and there was free Wi-Fi in the room which you don't get in some of the bigger hotels. The hotel has a nice bar area and a nice pool too. There was a free shuttle bus to the Tropicana on the strip, but we walked most of the time. It only took about 10 to 15 minutes, which is nothing when you consider the walking you do up and down the strip. All in all I thought this hotel was great and if I go back to Vegas, it would be my first choice. Read more

We stayed for two days. On arrival, our was room was superbly clean and inviting. Unfortunately, on day 2, housekeeping for whatever reason missed our room. Our bed remained unmade, the towels as we left them that morning and two garbage cans overflowing. On our return at 5:40 PM, I called down to reception explaining the state. Someone did turn up […] with some new towels and cleared the garbage pails. Hampton Inn had a sign at reception saying if you were at all unhappy with the stay, you would NOT be charged. On checkout, I told the receptionist what had happened and that I was not happy with the day 2 experience. Other than acknowledging my comment, I was not offered a no charge night for the inconvenience! Read more

Location less desirable off strip a short distance is compensated by Hotel supplying a shuttle bus to take you to the strip and the airport .Terrific breakfast, free internet access and helpful staff.

Das Hampton Inn befindet sich 10 Fuss-Minuten vom Strip entfernt an guter und ruhiger Lage. Im Hotel hat es kein Restaurant aber man kriegt ein komplettes und gutes Morgenessen. Einzig der Kaffee könnte besser sein. Für Mittag- und Abendessen gibt es am Strip aber genügend Auswahl. Der Komfort der Betten ist sehr gut, allerdings war unser Zimmer etwas […] klein im Verhältnis zu anderen Hotels auf unserer Reise.
