"There are better places"
For the amount of money, I expected the Venetian to be top of the line. However, I was a little disappointed. The shower was not hinged correctly. The decor was a little outdated. There were crums behind the couch when we got to the room. The couch was a bit hard. We had to call someone to fix the closet light because it would not go off. The floor […] we stayed on smelled strongly like smoke. And the view wasn't that great even though I payed extra to have a view room. I did think the casino was pretty nice and in good condition. Love the staying, great vegas view through window. Counter service explain the room very detail regards to any movements of the snacks on the counter top and refreshment in the refrigerator, which it has sensor that will notify the hotel and it will put charge on the billing statement. Everything was build too far away from each other. Total number of minutes to get from parking to hotel room is more than 30 minutes. 15 mins to walk from parking building to hotel lobby. Our room, a standard suite, was large and comfortable. My only real complaint is the elevators! You have to take one from the ground floor to the lobby, then depending on which tower you're in, snake around and down halls to get to another one to take you to your floor. We had a very nice experience with The Venetian hotel. The room was beyond fantastic. We were in quite awe about it. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The time we spent at the Venetian was one if not the best stay we have had at a hotel. Everything was excellent. Beautiful room that was actually as described on the website. It was an actual suite. not enough towels, you could hear people walking down the haul away and even the guy next door snoring. One of the pools were closed and was told it has been for awhile. There was major room remodling being done during the stay and when they contractors were done at the end of the day the hotel did not seem to care that the carpets we walked on to access […] the elevators and rooms were full of construction debris and needed to be vacumed. My room rate sure did not affect the construction or one of the pools being closed. Could have handled the remodling with a little more detail and appearance for for the guests.
