"Great hotel"
We stayed in March, 2013. The room was very spacious and clean. We had two adults and two teens. The facilities were outstanding (three TVs, couch, business center in room, wonderful beds). Valet parking was complimentary. The hotel itself is magnificent. "Wonderful Stay"
We only stayed one night as we came in to see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Our room was beautiful and very convenient. We went down the elevator and we were at the concert. Beds were very comfortable and room was very clean. Would stay again in a heartbeat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Too many negatives."
First of all they added an additional $20 per night when you check in that was not disclosed when reservations were made. No coffee pot-want you to buy coffee from their vendors. Since we were only going for one night, I packed no shampoo or conditioner. When we called for it, they brought it after my shower and we felt obligated to tip the delivery […] guy since it's not his fault they don't stock it in the rooms. Found a folded dirty bandaid in the bathroom floor. That made me feel insecure with the cleanliness especially since the rooms including the bathrooms are so dark you can hardly see to put on make-up and I have perfect vision. Overall for the price, I was expecting much better from a hotel. I don't mind paying a five star rate for a hotel but I expect to receive five star treatment and this was way under par. "Sparkling, Deluxe, and So Comfortable"
The Venetian is so beautifully maintained - every surface is gleaming. The rooms in the Venetzia Tower have a split level format that is super-comfortable for a family with small kids- the living room with pull out sofa is 3-4 steps below the bedroom. Bathroom is huge, marble, and luxurious. The only downside is that ingress/egress takes a long time […] and involves multiple elevators and long hallways. Just OK, the room is not worth for money. The sofa is very old and dirty. There is a glass from previous guest left on the floor for 3 days and not remove. The drainage in bathroom is slow. The hotel is overwhelming huge. We did not feel welcomed by the staff. No one to help us find the front desk, or navigate through the casino. "Not a 4 star service experience..."
The Venetian is a beautiful hotel located at the south portion of the the Las Vegas strip. I was disappointed with the level of service for the type of hotel. A couple of examples; there was a printer in our room which is a great perk. However, the ink cartridges were low and needed to be replaced. Both my daughter and I called the front desk and I […] waited for over 1 hour for someone to come with the replacement cartridges. This may not sund bad, but it cut into the limited time that I had for my stay (2 days). Also, when the maid serviced the room, there were no wash cloths left. I paid an extra fee for a third person in the room and we did not have adequate towels until I called to request for the front desk. Finally, when I checked out, I shared this bad experience with the individual at the front desk and there was no offfer to adjust my bill for the inconvenience. It was barely acknowledged that I had a complaint. So in summary, if you like the layout of the Venitian hotel and have lower expectations for service, you will probably have a visit that meets your expectations.
