"It was alright"
It wasn't too bad of a room. I would stay there again just because of the price and the cleanliness, but the online description was diseaving. They said it would have a mini bar and fridge, that def wasn't true. When I walked up to registration, there was no clear direction/ lines. Staff were dressed in western attire. After waiting in a cluster of people, I get to he front desk to find that the computers are down. They have no way of verifying my reservation. They also do not know at 4:30 in the afternoon which rooms are available. Thy needed to wait for the […] maids to tell then what was ready. I was invited to wait 20 minutes for complimentary cocktail hour . After 2 1/2 hours. I was called to say my room was ready. At this point in had changed in the public restroom, and across town at my dinner reservation. It was 930 when we got to our room. No mention was made about compensation. first night toilet bubbled off and all night waking us. Asked for repair and it could not be fixed. They moved us to another room over the a/c units, no safe in room. The hotel was nice and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. My room was clean, pleasant and spacious. The location was good as it was only 2 blocks to the center of the strip. "Gang bangers punched each other out"
Gang bangers punched each other out just after midnight. The Westin security guard let them stay. At 1:30am, things started up again in my hallway and carried on until 2am. Eventually, they got booted out. Also, the Westin tried to charge me extra for a "resort fee" and wireless internet from my room. Hotel is not in the best area for Vegas. Not much to walk to and not much in the lobby. Resort fee is annoying, especially since there isn't much of a pool.
