The rooms were clean but cramped and old. The TV was broken with no on off switch. The second room had a ceiling leak. I did not see another guest the whole time I was there. I cut my stay short and found another place.

Terrible. Other than a couple of nice employees the staff was terrible. We waited over an hour to check in with only 2 people in line ahead of us. Our room was not what we booked. They told us to come back later for keys, They did not know that we were still there after 2 days even though we had a 4 day reservation-- they thought we had checked out. […] The shuttle driver did not pick us up to take us to the airport but someone else who worked there had to do it, and not even sure he was covered under insurance to drive the shuttle. The desk clerk who checked us out was rude and did not even communicate that we were all set or not before he walked away. The breakfast was not even worth mentioning. They served biscuits and gravy but no gravy was available. The banquet food was terrible absolutely no flavor. A very poor experience. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone for any reason. the first room they have us was dirty, carpet had stains and AC was very loud..second room was better but we had only one set of clean towels and had to wait for the staff to finish washing towels before we could get another set...we never stay there again

Fortune Hotel & Suites is just a couple blocks from anchor hotels like Bally's on the Vegas Strip...but much more modestly priced, quiet, with no slot machines or smoking on site. An expanded continental breakfast saves time in the morning, and every room has a fridge. I chose this hotel based at the time on its "3.7 star rating" here on hotels.com. Bad service, dirty rooms, extremely unorganized. It took three tries before getting the room I originally reserved with someone not already in it. This hotel is under new ownership and shouldn't be open right now. Pool and gym are closed, there is no sign on the hotel […] except for a temporary vinyl sign hanging in front. Address is hand painted on a wooden board nailed to a planter. Empty dirt lot next door adds to the run-down feeling, as does the closed down fenced and shuttered casino next to it. Needless to say, wouldn't stay here again. The Ramada does not charge any hidden resort fees like all the casinos do. Internet and a continental breakfast come complementary with your stay. Great place to stay if you want to avoid walking through smoke filled casinos to get to your room!

Las Vegas has fairly high crime rates and tends to attract scum from all the surrounding areas and so I was very appreciative to see that this hotel took security seriously. I noticed regular patrols around the area and felt that my vehicle and belongings were very safe and secure. The staff was very professional and I would certainly stay here again. My first experience, with the hotel shuttle and the charming man at the front desk, was wonderful. Then I got to my room to find that it hadn't been finished by housekeeping. It was sweltering in there, so I turned on the air conditioner. The pillows were piled on the couch and had no pillow cases. No big deal, right? So I just call down and ask for […] pillow cases. Granted, it's 11:30 at night and I have to get up at 7:00am for a class. I still need to shower before bed. But I wait for the pillow cases. Half an hour later, still no pillow cases, so I call down again. They assure me they're on their way. Twenty more minutes pass before a pillow case shows up. So I finally can go take my shower. I find a large wad of tangled hair on my towel. Not my hair. EeK. Finally manage to crawl into bed at almost 1am to find that the noisy air conditioner hasn't cooled down the room and the sheets were rough and scratchy. Didn't sleep much. So, in the end, don't stay here if you need a good night's sleep. If you wanna party in Vegas, you'll probably be okay. Cheers! Read more

hotel looks good from the out side, I stayed in building 2 and it is not as well kept as i expected. Stains in the carpet, bed was clean but seemed old. Had to run the hot water for over 10 minutes for it to get warm, very frusrtating! they did have free breakfast and a fridge in the room.

OK, it sure isn't 4-5 star, but it's a great deal for the price! Pluses...Nicely decorated and decently kept rooms. All rooms non-smoking. Very nice staff (the man who checked us in at night even made us laugh!). Close to the Strip, just a couple of loooong Vegas-style blocks away. The hotel has friendly agents and drivers. The courtesy car to the airport is wonderful and they take you to the strip. They try hard to please. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. There is coffee in the room, nice TV, good air conditioning, and newspapers at front desk.

Ramada Inn in Las Vegas was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Around the parking lot there were low class people drinking beer even 6:00AM. The hallways are like oven, they keep the AC off, When I checked in the reception person said they have continental breakfast from 6:00 to 10:00 perhaps I made a mistake and he had said 6:30, I walked in the breakfast […] room at 6:15, this man comes and kicks me out of there just like if I was a thief. The hotel is about a mile East of Las Vegas Blvd. (The Strip). The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgable. The hotel is older but it was clean and comfortable. There is 24-hour pick-up and delivery to the airport, and one-way transportation to 3 other locations within about 10-minutes of the hotel. There are several restaurants within walking […] distance. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The (free) breakfast was much more than I expected. I loved being off the Strip and having easy access to to getting on the roads and not having to deal with parking garages. Having a coffee pot and refrigerator in the room was a BIG PLUS.

Staff were mostly unattentive and uncaring. Mattress was old, soft and sinking. Eggs? Could be a new thermoplastic for all I know. I've never encountered food with that consistency. Paper thin walls. You'll hear everything, as in everything. A/C kept cycling off without cooling the room. Of course, the maintenance man just left. You'll sleep better […] in your car but you will need to find a place to shower. Speaking of shower, the shower head was a multi-pattern spray type but only one pattern on this baby. All the water directed to a point about one foot from the nozzle. Perfect. One last item, the hallways had the faint smell of skunk. I stayed three nights. Won't make that mistake again. I wanted a hotel that didn't have a casino yet was close enough to the Sand Convention Center to be an easy walk--which this hotel is if you take Koval Avenue. A great feature about this hotel is that it offers complimentary shuttle service to Flamingo, MGM, and the Sands Convention Center as well to and from the airport. The room was spacious and quiet and the staff was helpful and friendly. Housekeeping was friendly and did a great job. I needed to fund my own way to a conference held in a hotel on the strip with room rates that were well beyond what I was willing to pay. The Ramada provided exactly what I needed for my trip to Las Vegas. It was relatively quiet, easily accessible, close to the strip and a good value. Sure, the amenities were not what one would find in a more expensive […] hotel - there were scratches on the furniture, the TV was not high-tech, and it lacked a microwave - but it was more than adequate as a base of operations. The staff at check-in and check-out were polite, friendly and responsive. If you're looking for a hotel that is integrated into a Las Vegas "experience," this may not be the best choice. This place is great! You wouldn't think it at first, right next to an abandoned casino and the place is being remodeled. But my room was superquiet (albeit I was there midweek), and it's a mile off the crowded Strip so you can tap into that without staying there. And the […] Hard Rock property is literally touching the Ramada corner to corner... they should just build a footpath to it. But it quickly became my favorite and easiest place to go. The pool was great and uncrowded. I hate when pools, especially hot tubs, have pool hours and you can't get in after 10pm or whatever. This place had pool hours, but they were not enforced and your key card would still work at 2am if you wanted. So as long as you were chill and considerate, you could soak in the hot tub whenever you wanted.. the way it should be. The pool has a water feature fountain in the middle, but it turns off in the day (I think to save water since spraying water into the desert air is stupid), so a secret is that you can sit on the shelf of this fountain and have a nice soak. Since it's a column fountain, you can sit in the shade of it and really relax in the desert heat. The free breakfast was ok... they didn't have hot water one morning so they couldn't do breakfast but gave everyone 5 bucks. It kind of slowed me down since I was there on business and had to scramble to find a quick breakfast, but things happen. Read more
