Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.see all hotels in Las Vegas
I was very specific in requesting that each of my two rooms had 2 Queen beds I reiterated this at 3pm check in Much to my dismay there was only one king bed in each It took an exhausting 45minutes on the phone to straighten this out with a supervisor and did not obtain what I paId for ( fountain view deluxe room). I was switched to rooms with no views […] ( view of parking lots & the back side of the house - flat roofs with exhaust) I had stayed at this hotel 6 times prior and it is no longer a five star Customer Service is terrible! Poor guest service. We felt like just since we were a "young couple" they weren't as interested in making our stay worth it. "Not what I expected - Lesson Learned"
Not what I expected. It’s the Bellagio, one would expect truly 5 star accommodations, I score it 3-4. The mattress needed to be replaced and the bathroom could have been cleaner, I was surprised since it was not the Motel 6. I did like the convenient parking and it is the center of the strip. After 200+ trips to Vegas, I would not pay for upscale accommodations […] again. Next trip I will go back downtown to stay at the Golden Nugget, where I normally stay, I did learn my $300 lesson. "On the strip"
The only thing that happened to us that prevents me from giving it an excellent rating is that I left some NEW boots there. I called them from the Las Vegas airport and they said that our room hadn't been cleaned yet so I felt confident that I would get them back because everyone was so nice. Wrong! Haven't heard from them.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Center of the strip"
Has a free tram over to Aria. Across the street between Paris and Planet Hollywood is the Million Mile mall. Inside many inexpensive restaurants. Ocean Blue excellent choice for breakfast. In the Bellagio, Cafe Bellagio is inexpensive for lunch. Beds made daily in the room, but rug never vacuumed.Genuine Expedia guest review

"OK but not quite what I expected."
My reservation was for a room with two queen beds, instead I was placed in a room with one. I called the front desk and they put me in a new room but still had to move and I expected my room reservation to be respected in the first place from the Belagio. Also the floor hadn't been swept well. Stepped on a plastic clothes tag left buy someone else. […] No such thing as an easy meal there either. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"What the hotel is missing."
We stayed in a resort room. The infrastructure was beautiful. But, the hotel really thought more about their pocketbook than their guests. Everything was overpriced. Most hotels provide coffee, coffee pot, and sometimes a refrigerator and microwave in the room. No coffee in the resort room - unless you go downstairs to get it at $6.95 a cup. Nice refrigerator, […] but filled with hotel items for sale. No room to store water bottles or your own snacks. Sure snacks were available, but were very expensive. Extra charges were required even if you did not use the resort's facilities. They should include that charge in the base room price and disclose it up front - since the hotel keeps that money. There were also extra government fees to pay - but I don't fault the management for not disclosing that cost up front. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Comfortable room, conveniently located."
The hotel is comfortable and quiet. More quick dining options would be appreciated. My biggest problem was getting an additional bill with a large erroneous charge after we had checked out. I was eventually referred to the accounts recievable department, which has not responded, and it is now well outside the "7 to 10 day" expected response time. "Great hotel. Poorly managed."
I have always thought that the Bellagio is the most tastefully designed hotel on the strip. Unfortunately, the management does not meet the level of quality that the physical building has. Long, tedious lines to check in. Asked for non-smoking, but given a smoking room . . . So back in long line. It actually took a couple of hours to check in. "Five star hotel with one star service"
I had booked a room for two people for a two night stay. They gave me a choice of either the one king bed or 2 queen beds so i put in the request for two queens. When we arrived to check in, the staff at the check in desk informed me that i am only eligibly for one kind bed instead of two queens because i only paid for two people. They said it was hotel […] policy. If that is the policy, i should have been informed when i booked the hotel. So then i asked if i could 'upgrade' and pay for a third person and they said that i needed to have a reservation. It is my speculation that they ran out of rooms with two queen sized beds so they gave me all these excuses. However, if i am wrong and it is hotel policy, i would highly appreciate this information prior to booking my room since money was not the issue when i booked this room. I would not have mind paying for another person had i known it would guarantee me two queen sized beds. This really upset me and took a part away from what should have been a nice getaway. In addition, when we arrived at the valet parking, not one attendee came to ask if we needed help carrying all our luggage to our room. I found this to be quite offensive and upsetting. This was the first turn off since i arrived. The staff at the check in/out were just not very nice nor friendly. However, the elevator staff and cleaning were extremely nice and helpful. It is sad to say that this five star hotel only deserves the rating for the hotel and not the service. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Except for the check-in."
Everything was perfect except the check-in. We checked-in, got to our room and it was not clean. We notified the hotel and they gave us another room. "Not very good service"
I had to wait 45 minutes in line to check in, then when we got to the room the keys were not working. I called the front desk and security to open the door. Later, I had to wait in line for another 40 minutes to get new keys so they will work. It was 113 degrees in Vegas that night and everyone know the tap water is barely drinkable. There was no complimentary […] water bottles provided in the room and the minibar had water bottles for $10. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and clean. The fountain view rooms have a descent view. "Centrally located Hotel with character"
A great hotel in which to experience Vegas. Watch out though which room they put you in. We were on the 11th floor and were subject to a noise from beeping trucks and loading of recyclable materials ALL night. When we complained in the morning they did remedy the situation by providing a room on a higher floor far from the noise for the next night. […] Nothing can be done however about the sleepless night on our vacation. I do need to question; if the hotel is scheduling these what they call "programs" at ungodly hours when guests are trying to sleep, how good is the hotel? They seemed very dismissive of my complaint and said that not many people have complained about this. I really find this hard to believe. That aside, and the mix-up with the in room dining bill it was a good hotel. In room dining casually double charged for the in-room coffee. It took a lot of time and phone calls to straighten it out. We requested two separate beds when we made reservation, but we were told that they don't have such room available when we checked in. We end up in a single bed room. We tried the next day, they first told us they got the room for us and told us to call in a few hours after people checked out. But after waiting in our room they told us they don't have […] the room available anymore. We were disappointed and not quite understand why we were told different things from the same hotel. "Just not as nice as we expected."
We usually stay at the Venetian, Vdara or the Paris, but we have been wanting to stay at the Bellagio for years based on all the raving comments we have always heard. We finally booked 3 nights over Mother's Day weekend. We were so excited and were anticipating the "WOW" factor when we walked into our room. We walked in and both were let down. It's […] a nice room, but it's nothing fabulous - typical bed, little table, armoire, expensive mini-bar, standard bathroom... just NOT what we were expecting. For the same amount of money, you can get a standard room at the Ventian which is a FABULOUS plush room with a TON of square footage, a sunken living room with a full couch and office/desk area and a HUGE bathroom. We also had a negative experience with the gaming tables... the dealers were rude. We walked away from one table and I was angry enough to call down to the casino manager and complain. Overall, we just weren't very happy with the experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
