If you don't hit it big, you can still earn your Sin City bragging rights by leaping from the top of your hotel and living to tell the tale: SkyJump, one of 3 onsite thrill rides, is a 108-story controlled freefall offering amazing aerial views of The Strip--if you can keep your eyes open.
Jumping off the tower isn't the only reason to head to the top. The revolving Top of the World restaurant, perched 1,000 feet above The Strip, completes a 360-degree turn every 80 minutes. This casual restaurant specializes in steak, seafood, and decadent desserts. If you just can't get enough seafood, head to the Stratosphere's buffet for all-you-can-eat shrimp and crab leg nights. You can also hear DJs spin nightly at lounges like the Air Bar and casino-level C Bar.
And when you're ready to take a break, there are dozens of ways to decompress. Work off that buffet dinner any time of the day at the 24-hour fitness center, schedule a massage or manicure at Roni Josef International Spa & Salon, or make the most of the Stratosphere's high real estate--head to the 8th-floor outdoor pool for swimming and sunbathing, or to take in a desert sunset.
Relaxing in your room is easy with 42-inch plasma TVs, pay movies, and wireless Internet access (surcharge). For entertaining groups, get a suite with a separate living room, wet bar, and refrigerator. Most rooms are outfitted with large windows offering stunning views of the Las Vegas Valley and The Strip.

Really just got the room to be close to the airport and get a shower. Unfortunately when I got there I had to pay a mandatory additional fee for the upstairs access I guess which I had absolutely no time to use so that was a bit annoying. This hotel is terrible. They advertise low rates, but layer on mandatory fees that will at a minimum double the rate they quote you. The hotel is located in a dangerous part of town, not convenient to anything, and has the feel of a foreign country. There is NOTHING above average at this hotel. There is no reason to stay here. The Stratosphere Hotel is a great priced hotel on the Vegas strip. Everyone was extremely friendly and the hotel was very nice. View from the spire was amazing and even the security officer was friendly enough to point out and talk about all the sites from way up on top. Only complaint is the location. Rooms are not in good condition. TV needed 3 times to have remote changed. Rooms need to have face lift . italian restaurant food was average at best. Grill was very good for price and quality as well as presentation. Top of the world had great view with friendly staff. food was ok as needs modern presentation. smoked Salmon was good and descent presented. Weather was cold, so we didnt use the pools, but we were there to meet some newly discovered family, so that wasnt as important as other times we have stayed there. The resort fee was higher than advertised, but still lower than other hotels. This is our favorite hotel for the value. "A good inexpensive place to stay."
This hotel/casino is located at the start (or end depending on which way you are going) of the STRIP in Las Vegas. The check-in was easy and completed quickly. The valet took care of parking my rental car with no damage as the retrieval was quickly done. I did not eat at this place but walked up the street to an IHOP which serves basic food cheaply. […] In the room the selection of TV channels was very limited (like the old days in Vegas where they did not want you to stay in the room but wanted you to gamble).
