While this hotel is off the strip and the casino is not as refined as those on the strip, the price you pay gives you a hotel room that is a modern and clean as anything you'd find on the strip. There is a shuttle that drops off at the Flamingo that is included in the resort fee. For my money, I'd stay here over the PH, Trop, Exclaibur or NYNY.

Great place - bathrooms are very nice, the rooms are super clean and very comfy bed. Also, casino is smaller so you can get from the parking garage to your hotel room in less than 2 minutes. Restaurants are the lower priced fare so great if you are not interested in expensive food. I personally have stayed here 3 times. It's a great place. The hotel was great. Only had one problem with TGI Fridays in the hotel. Chicken fried steak tasted like raw flour and the gravy was runny. We came to LV for the National Finals Rodeo. The hotel was a sponsor and everything corresponded so it was a great venue to stay at. Except for the check in which was not the hotel's fault, we had a great stay and would stay there again.

This is one of the best kept secrets in Vegas. But you have to get the premium rooms. For an extra $10 or so a night you get a high quality room in a great location. Being on the west side of US 15 may seem like a negative but it only takes 5 minutes to get to Bellagio part of strip. It also only takes a few minutes to get to the Wynn/Venetian part, […] and only a few minutes more to see downtown. If you were parked anywhere else, it takes 15 minutes just to escape Las Vegas Blvd. Add the great Asian restaraunts: PingPangPong & Noodle Asia and I really loved it. But, I have also stayed in the regular rooms, and those rooms have a Motel 6 feel to them. Still a decent value, but you feel like you are settling for less. This was the first time we ever stayed off-Strip and I can honestly say I will probably never stay on the strip again. For what we paid, the Gold Coast was fantastic: the people were friendly, the food very good and the gambling cheaper and with better odds. The condition of the room was on par with every hotel I've stayed on the strip; there are some […] little things that could be improved, but overall it was nice. An added bonus was the comfort of the bed. Blackjack, craps and poker were all 5$ min., even on Friday and Saturday night. Breakfast buffet was very good at 6.00$ and the 22 oz bone-in prime rib at the Cortez was a steal at 24 bucks. There were a lot of locals here and they were all very friendly. This is a great Hotel/Casino, with very good location even if it is not on the strip. There is a free shuttle to the strip and the Orleans Hotel/Casino. Or if you like you can walk across the street to The Palms Casino or to The Rio. This was the 3rd time we stayed at Gold Coast. Everything was great, the service, the room, and the food. The room was very clean and the mattress and pillows were good and firm. The parking in the covered garage was easy and close to casino entrance. We would definitely stay here again.

Very surprised at the comfort of the beds. Good TV. Quiet place to crash after a party on the town. Plus the central location made it good for getting around.. (especially to the LV Convention Center.) Make sure you eat at Ping Pang Pong...
