A detoxifying body wrap or relaxing sauna session is just what the doctor ordered after a day or two in this nonstop city. At the Spa at Harrah's, enjoy a massage or facial, or go for a package deal if you can't decide. Men's and women's spa tubs and steam rooms are available, and the spa also has a full-service salon offering men's and women's cuts, coloring, and styling. If you're committed to getting in a workout, the fitness center located inside the spa has cardio and weight machines. (Go after 5 PM for a reduced daily facility fee.)
Harrah's keeps the action alive, even while you eat. At the Sports Pit, bet on your favorite teams while enjoying Texas-style barbecue and burgers. Order up some early-morning eggs or a late-night sandwich with 24-hour room service, or stop by the Café at Harrah's for extensive menus throughout the day. In keeping with its Soviet-sounding name, KGB also stocks an impressive vodka selection.
Flavors Buffet - Whether you're after all-you-can-eat crab legs and sushi rolls, or a made-to-order omelet, Flavors will hit the spot with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch buffets.
Oyster Bar - Seafood of all colors and stripes is served up with an extensive cocktail selection. Stick with the classics like clam chowder and lobster, or be adventurous and go for a plate of 4 types of chilled, raw oysters.
IcePan - Just like the name implies, the ice cream at this stand is "formed" before your eyes on an ice-cold, flash-freezing pan. Every cone or cup of ice cream is custom-made with your choice of dairy (low fat, non-fat, or soy) and toppings.
Entertainment at Harrah's centers on music and comedy, or a combination of both. Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill has a bit of everything that makes Vegas special. Catch some live music and play a few rounds of blackjack with the bar's feisty dealers in this laid-back atmosphere, inspired by the country star's hit song "I Love This Bar." Or watch the big game on one of the flat-panel TVs while enjoying some Southern-style food.
Sing along with your favorite musicians as Legends in Concert presents top impersonating acts that can actually sing and dance like the stars. Get in on the entertaining yourself at Harrah's Piano Bar. Request songs and sing along during the nightly Dueling Pianos show, or stop by TJ's Karaoke.
Harrah's is also home to the Improv, a Strip comedy staple. The Improv features the country's top touring comics and recurring productions like Defending the Caveman, a laugh-out-loud one-man play focusing on the universally funny trials and tribulations between men and women. Mac King takes the Improv stage once a week with his Comedy Magic Show, entertaining audiences with his sleight of hand and quirky humor.

Harrah's guests also have preferred access to the Cascata and Rio Secco golf courses, consistently ranked among the state's top courses. Both are within a half-hour drive of The Strip.

Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. "CARNIVAL CRUISE ON DRY LAND"
45 minute wait at registration to see the ONLY front desk staff person on duty. Plenty of staff behind the desk--but not one lifted a finger to improve customer service experience. Line was 7 to 20 people long at times waiting for service. When I finally got to see the desk clerk--she surprised me with a "hidden charge" for highspeed internet. I didn't […] have a computer & didn't want it--BUT it was a mandatory hidden charge. And, I finally got my room on the 9th floor--the door lock was broken and wouldn't open. "Do Not Stay Here"
I stood in line for almost an hour with 2 people in front of me as 1 person worked to check in everyone. The rewards line kept filling up so we could do nothing but wait. I respect that reward customers go first, but to have 1 check in person was beyond poor. We asked for the manager to come out, but she hid. We even called the hotel directly hoping […] someone could help, but no luck. After 45 minutes, another person came out, and we moved through slowly. I will NEVER stay here again. In that hour I could have been gambling and lost $500 which would have paid for 50 employees to check people in. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"DONT USE THIS HOTEL AND CASINO"
WORSE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN VEGAS ON HOLD FOR EVER WITH THE FRONT DESK. SERVICE JUST SUCKS. DON’T EVEN THINK OF GAMBLING HERE. GO SOME WHERE ELSE ANY WHERE BUT HERE. I AM NOT SURE HOW THIS HOTEL/CASINO CAN CLAIM TO BE 4 stars. I would say may be motel 6 No offense to motel 6. but I would never stay and gamble at this place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not much for customer service"
I waited for 20 minutes to check in behind two people at 10:15PM. The staff was not very friendly and they mislead you into purchasing their resort fee. The resort fee includes access to their gym, which they don't tell you that the hours are 7-7. It also includes internet access which was so slow it just didn't work with my VPN connection. The resort […] was not offered to me as an option, but come to find out, it is an option. Dont' ruin your business trip or vacation at this resort... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Meh"
Check in was an inordinately slow and painful process. Front Desk manager must have been hired from DMV. Key cards failed 3 times. Terribly NOISY !!!! In a room on a floor that was mostly vacant, WHY did the front desk staff (or computer system) book the adjacent room (with screeching young women? 3:30 AM screamfests are just not pleasant and complaining […] is a waste of time.) The location of the hotel was fine.. That was the reason it was selected. I'm not sure if I'd do it again, though. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to Monorail"
I arrived at the hotel around 11pm and it took 45 minutes to check in as there were only 2 people checking in customers. Not very amusin after a lon fliht to Veas. The hotel is very comfortable and you can check in to your flight directly from the hotel. My room did not have wireless connection and I could not use my ipad. The room only had a wired […] internet connection and try fitting that thing to an Ipad. The management seriously needs a rethink about that as Wifi access should be basic. Buffet was okay but the array of desserts was out of this world. The pecan tarts were to die for. The hotel is right next to the Monorail and was very convenient to access the LV Convention Center. There is also a McDonalds right next door and a shopping mall across the street. Will definitely return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Party, not business!"
Great rooms, surprisingly nice for the price. One big problem, 50 percent of the hotel faces a club downstairs with booming music that lasts until 4 am. Not the place to stay on a business trip. Other hotels on the strip like the Venetian took a little more care soundproofing their rooms. It seems that they specifically give online bookings this side […] of the hotel so they cannot refund you on the spot. Despite the hotel being surprisingly nice (shocked me), overall bad experience. "Resort Fees for Nothing and No Service"
I have been to Las Vegas countless times so I've come to expect little or no service at Strip hotels but Harrah's has reached new lows. I was assigned a room over an outdoor bar with a DJ or band playing until late into the night. I was working so I needed sleep and when I called the front desk--once I got through (it's virtually impossible to reach […] anyone by phone at Harah's--they told me to call back in the morning. When I called in the morning, they told me a room was assigned and to bring my stuff down between 11 and 1. When I called to see if the room was ready, I was told it was not and offered about ten other rooms which, once offered, were already taken. I took that occasion to complain about the new RESORT FEES OF $20 A NIGHT. The resort fee practice, which is being investigated currently by the FTC as a deceptive practice, is supposed to cover internet use. But guess what? Harrah's doesn't have wifi in the rooms so if you have a tablet, forget about it. Anyway, I was told I would be compensated with a $30 food and beverage credit that I could use at any hotel restaurant. The next day I went to Harrah's buffet, waited in line and when I told the cashier I had the credit, she called and said there was no record of it. I called the manager and got voice mail, leaving a message, but got no reply. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel was terrible. It was smokey everywhere, especially in our room which was supposed to be smoke free. "Convenient location for Convention Center"
The Hotel is OK. It's not great and is a bit outdated, but over all it is pretty clean and well maintaned. I stay here frequently because it is located close to the Las Vegas Convention Center and has very convenient tram access for transportation to the convention center. The prices are always low and the rooms are good for the price you normally pay. […] The hotel also has several good places to eat. The steak house on the second floor is fantastic and compares nicely with any other quality steak restaurant in Vegas. Toby Keith's bar and grill also located on the second floor is a great place to eat too if you are in the mood for more informal dining. I was a little displeased with my last stay here as I had some problems with my room while checking in which were inconvenient to me and the fault of the hotel staff and they made no attempt to make up for the inconveniences(I.E a room upgrade or a free dinner pass or anything like that). Other than this problem, I would recomend the hotel if you are on a budget and you want a nice place to stay for the price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pretty good"
Everything was fine except for 2 things: 1) they don't let you put any of your own food or drinks in the mini-bar to keep it cold, and if you remove one of their items from the mini-bar they will charge you for it even if you put it back immediately. Many other hotels do this, but it's pretty lame. 2) The other super lame thing is that when you check […] in they have 2 lines, one for their "gold members" and another one for everyone else. Only problem is that they will keep taking people from the gold member line before they take any from the regular line as long as there is anyone in the gold member line. This means that you could be in line for hours trying to check in if people keep getting into the gold line. My line didn't move at all in 15 mins. When I complained they explained the situation to me. You can get a free gold membership in the casino, and that is what I had to do in order to check in or I might have been in that line for over an hour. This is a pretty sleezy way to get people to sign up for their gold membership so they can then send you all kinds of promotional stuff. So make sure that before you attempt to check in that you sign up for the gold membership. Other than that, everything else was fine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quiet room but turns out to be noisy room"
We requested for a quiet room but the room turns out to be very noisy. We were here a in the summer maybe two years ago and the loud music was on until 2:00 am and we could not go to sleep. We requested for a quiet room this time but it is quite noisy. We can hear cars haunking and also loud noise, maybe the garbage truck .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and affordable business trip"
I had to be at another hotel on the strip for a conference. But that hotel was very expensive. So I looked for a more affordable option within walking distance. I found that in the Harrah's. I was not disappointed. The room was clean, no hidden fees or charges, and great service. So I definitely got my money's worth!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Well we chose this based on price and location :) we had a players card which allowed us an early check in at no extra cost which was greatly appreciated. We didn't require room service however we had to call house keeping on second night who left the room undone, a supervisor came to observe room and apologised and had someone clean and bring fresh […] linens. Aside from that the room was average. Would have appreciated wifi but at 13.99 per 24 hours we chose to pass. This property is next to Caesars the Venetian and flamingo. Without costly resort fees which I refuse to pay. Stayed at Monte Carlo a year ago and the fees made me believe we may be staying in a nicer place but the room was very much he same. Stayed at The Harrahs for 3 nights and we had a good time even won a nice jack pot on a progressive penny slot machine and this was the highlight of our stay, we won it right at Harrahs so over all we had a blast. Hope this helps most of the people here are very good at customer service and I would consider booking again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Loud but a good value"
Although the common areas of the hotel feel dated, the guest room I stayed in was nicely furnished. The room (on the east side of the Carnaval tower) was unfortunately noisy due to the music from the hotel entrance below. There was also quite a bit of noise from neighboring rooms although it didn't seem like the occupants were doing anything out of […] the ordinary. Personnel were courteous but not overly friendly and the property was generally quite clean. The location is convenient and I was able to obtain a great rate, making my stay a very good value. I would never stay here again. The tub didn't drain, so stood in ankle deep water while showering. To add insult to injury, there was no hot water the second day. View was awful.
