Nice stay. Spotless room, nice toiletries, bright white linens, great showerhead, nice big flat screen tv, large room, very large closet, nice granite bathroom countertop and desk, comfortable bed. Optional self-parking which is nice (valet not required). Nice that there was no resort fee (was told this is changing in a few weeks though) and the deposit […] was only a $50 hold. The only negative was having a room by the elevator on a Friday night, with the drunk partiers coming in in the middle of the night it was a little loud, but this could happen anywhere. Room was very quiet otherwise, and the entrance was easy to get in and out of onto Paradise. Be prepared for a lengthy check-in on a Friday since people are just getting in for the weekend. "Very Disappointed"
We went to LVH because we had a convention there at the hotel. The front desk attendant was absolutely wonderful but when we got to our room the bathroom sink was dirty and looked like it had ashes in it. We called housekeeping and they came up and clean it. The next day it was there again. As I was standing at the sink, water and big chunks of debris […] came up out of the drain and filled the sink and when the water slowly drained back down all the black dirt remained. We call housekeeping and they were going to call maintenance. They did not. That evening we called again and they said they would send someone up who never came. The next morning the tub was not draining. When I checked out I reported all of this and they told me they were sorry and let the housekeeping manager know. I found my stay at LVH to be the best of all the 5 trips I have made to Las Vegas. It was a convenent, clean, adult enviornment. The staff was most accomadating when I needed a late check out. Here is the truth: Hotel was very good for price & location. Stayed for March Madness in a premium room & the room was clean and comfortable. I heard premium rooms hav been renovated more recently than regular rooms so it better to pay a little more in my opinion for cleaner room. 1st night my room was by the elevator so I complained and they moved […] me the next morning right away, no problems. Staff was extremely great, I have never had so many free drinks. Waitresses came up to me every few minutes while I played slots which was amazing. Monorail makes it SO convenient to go to and from strip (get a 24 hr pass or 2 day pass). I went to strip multiple times just for food and monerail literally was the best thing. Overall, this is not the Bellagio or Cosmo, but very good quality for inexpensive hotel. Pool was not big FYI but cannot complain about anything else. Very good stay & will definitely go back. We picked this place b/c it was next to the convention center but that just meant we spent more money on taxis to get to everything else. bed was comfortable but air unit was very loud. shower was interesting in that the water pressure was like Niagra Falls out of the bottom faucet but they must have had a super water saver plug […] on the showerhead b/c the water just dribbled out of it. not a bad experience but would choose to stay elsewhere next time we have a show at the convention center. Overall good. We stayed there to attend two trade shows back to back at the Convention Center. It is actually a long walk due to the size of everything. My iPhone GPS Pedometer said 1.43 miles each way from our room to the south hall where our booth was. It is a long way to the strip. A monorail pass is a bargain or take a cab. Housekeeping was not […] all that great. We had room service the first night and the dirty dishes stayed in the hall for three days. The in hotel restaurants were fair, not great by any means. and again it is a cab or a monorail ride elsewhere. We have to be in Vegas twice a year for these shows. Upon arriving in the room, I was first taken in by the view from the 14th floor, but the good impressions stopped there. As I milled around the room I noticed its very dated decor, from the gold trim on the full length mirror on the door on sliding track of the closet, to the pale pink tile on the floor in the bathroom. And speaking of the bathroom, […] dirty grout and probably what was mildew in the corners and a few grout areas in the shower tile. Baseboards dirty and old. The final straw to this low-scoring review, was a loud mechanical hum that I was awakened by around 4 am. Called the front desk to inquire. They knew nothing. I got up and left for my flight 4 hours early as I could not get back to sleep due to whatever the sound was. It definitely was in the hotel on or around my floor. Calls back to the hotel management has yielded NO follow up or explanation as to what drove me from my room prematurely. I feel for over $100 / per night, WHEN I am woken up should be in my control - not the hotels. Poor followup from management and disappointed that I didn't stay at the Biagio for $50 more. Great accomodations, great value, great service. Good location close to the strip and freeway access. I asked for early check because I was traveling a long and was very tired. Didn't checked in at 2 pm. Was very upset. So I waited in an unclean room until house keeping was asked by myself to clean it:(. House keeping had by pasted the room and I had to approach them on the hall to ask that the room be cleaned. I come to Vegas once a month for a business. I only stay here because it is perfect to use as a home base room. I have a car but the shuttle is modern cool and stop is at the base of the elevators. The rooms are big and nice tubs with comfortable beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
