The Inn at Aspen Hotel is located at the base of Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colo. The two-story hotel is the only property to feature ski-in/ski-out access to the Summit Express, Pup Lift and the half-board snowboarding area. The hotel is adjacent to Mountain Creek Golf Course. The boutique shops and restaurants of downtown Aspen are just a few miles away. Buttermilk Mountain is the base of Aspen Ski Company's school, which offers lessons for skiers of all ages and skill levels.
Hotel Features.
This two-story Aspen hotel provides family-friendly amenities and services. The hotel offers ski storage and locker rooms, and the lobby features comfortable furnishings and board games. Complimentary continental breakfasts are available seasonally (dates vary). Wireless Internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel. Other on-site amenities include a heated outdoor pool, a spa tub, a sauna, a fitness center, business center, concierge services, and complimentary airport transportation and area shuttle. The Elkhorn Bar & Grill serves a variety of American fare for breakfast and dinner, and doubles as a popular apres-ski spot in the winter, with views of the express ski lift.
The Inn at Aspen Hotel is the only hotel located at the base of Buttermilk Mountain, and is the most family-friendly of the four ski areas, with a larger percentage of beginner runs and the base for the Aspen Skiing Company's school. The hotel's location and casual atmosphere, with a fireplace; sofas; leather rocking chairs; and complimentary coffee, tea and cider in the lobby, make this a family favorite.
Complimentary transportation to and from the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport to any ResortQuest location in Aspen and/or Snowmass is provided by Snow Limo of Aspen.
This property is smoke-free and violators may be fined.
Guestrooms.
Guests staying on the ground floor can ski directly to their rooms. The guestrooms are spacious and comfortable, with cable television and VCRs, bathrobes, coffeemakers, premium bedding, multi-line phones with free local calls, desks and refrigerators. Wake-up calls can be requested for an early morning of skiing. Housekeeping service, cribs, and rollaway beds are available for a fee.

"Great place to stay near Aspen"
This hotel was perfect for us since we had a vehicle and trailer. One of the few places that had adequate and free parking. Currently being remodeled although it was not an inconvenience. "Free shuttle makes Aspen convenient"
I needed to be in Aspen every morning at 7 am for a conference so I didn't really want to stay 2 miles from Aspen. But, because the rates were half of the cheapest hotel in Aspen, and because of the free shuttle, I chose to stay here. It was a great decision. It was peaceful, quiet, with nice pool, and jacuzzi that were not overcrowded. The bed was […] so comfortable that I still want to find out the details so I can duplicate it at home. My room had a little refrigerator, a microwave and the bare bones of dishes and utensils, and coffeemaker and coffee. Important to me was the balcony with a door that opens, as I love fresh air. The A/C worked well, also. I only used the in-house restaurant once, and the food was good and reasonable, if not great. They don't have room service, but you can go down and pick up your food and take it to your room, which I did. All this wouldn't matter without the shuttle. The shuttle was available from very early, perhaps 6 am or so, until 10 pm, and occasionally later than that. It is always available within 10 minutes, as the furthest away it can be is the airport or Aspen, each of which is just a mile or two away. "next to airport"
This was a very pleasant stay! Close to downtown without being in it....it takes less than 10 minutes to get to downtown by car. It is less than 5 minutes from the airport. You don't need a GPS to get around this town. Hotel was nice. i can occasionally hear the nieghbors talk, but I didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
