"Loved it!!"

"Let's get real"
While the appearance and cleanliness of ths hotel was beyond comparison, there were a few problems that we encountered. The positive is that the decor and furnishings were stunning, something you would expect from an expensive boutique hotel in NYC. The decor did not stop at the lobby however but continued onto all floors and we presume all rooms. Our […] first problem we encountered is that we found the hotel had overbooked upon arrival and were given a room that was below the level we had reserved. This was resolved through a credit. The biggest problem however and the one that deserves mention here is the breakfast service. While a large step above a Continental Breakfast found in other hotels, the ability of the help to keep the available items stocked was disappointing. We had to constantly ask for even basic items such as orange juice and butter. And the culinary chef prepared omeletts - pass on them, they were skimpy and undercooked and not worth the wait. "Clean and Contemporary, but not the gym"
Very spacious and well-decorated room and bathroom. Everything is nice and clean. But not the gym: small, under-equipped, and not clean... feel like the staff ignore the gym completely. Rooms are wider than most so they feel very spacious. The room was clean even in the corners. Linens were fresh and beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The bar was a great place to watch the big game in the evening. The breakfast was super - made to order omelettes were fantastic along with a buffet hot bar and […] waffle maker and all the other regular breakfast items. Two cooks on hand to make the omelettes and keep the hot bar full of freshly made eggs, meat, potatoes, etc. Three nice restaurants within walking distance - ie: across parking lot. Many others within a mile or two. Very close to the interstate - easy to find. Very nice pool area with walk-through waterfall and separate hot tub. Not a very large pool, but very nice.
