"They where more concerned with weddings"
Started bad and stayed that way. Got there desk clerk was rude and very unprofessional, we tried to check in at 3 pm and told to come back at five. They had three weddings and they did not care about my reservation. Finally went to manager and guess what got a room in 5 minutes. Rooms are very small and bathrooms tiny, not worth money. Rooms decorated […] nicely and clean but very small. Rudeness of desk clerk would keep me from going back again Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth the money"
Booked a room with king bed and got a full or queen, very small. Room was tiny for 145.00 a night. Mirror in bathroom was good if you were 4 feet tall. No water available to guest 6 or 7 dollars a bottle. We went to the bar to have a quiet drink and an something to eat, and were invaded by a wedding party. There were only three guests at the bar at […] the time and were left hanging, 20 min later no food, no drink, the wedding was the priority not the other guest. we asked for our check and cancelled food and left. The next night we figured we would give it another try, we were just ignored, had to go to the front desk, and still no service. The Marriott is a much better value, free parking and better access to everything. Not impressed ! Stay by the water, it's cheaper and better ! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"My wife's birthday"
Not happy with front desk or service people. My room key would not work the 2nd day and when I went to have it fixed we were told it was because of its proximity to my cell phone in my pocket. A lie since the second key which I had left in the room since check-in didnt work either indicating they were turned off probably because earlier housekeeping […] had tried to enter my room even though I had the do not disturb sign out and I yelled at the woman. When we called later in the week to ask about charges seen on my charge card my wife was discourteously treated by a Nate after being bounced around on the phone for 20 minutes. This venue doesn't have to worry though because we will never return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very Disappointed with the service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall not good"
The hotel's location was the only good thing. I was a 5 minute walk to all the bars/restaurants, BUT the room was so small it barely fit the king bed, and the bathroom was a closet, the shower door couldn't even open all the way. A bigger person would not have fit. The pool/hot tub were junky. And the WORST part about it was the $35 per person breakfast […] buffet that was inedible. I basically eat everything and am not picky but even I thought it couldn't have been worse. Other than the gross buffet it really bugged me that they put out packaged oatmeal with hot water to make your own. For $35 /person they couldn't make some good oatmeal?!?!?!?! Ugh, we were so mad about the breakfast. They should have paid us to eat it. Def wouldn't stay there again, but we're not running back to Newport either. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Everything great, just one problem we had to run the hot tap for at least 5/6 mins to get hot water!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
