"close to convention center"
good, but noisy at nite due to our room next to the pubs and bars. Rooms on other side of hotel would be fine. No easy way to get into DC itself. There is a bus that will take you to the metro but not convienent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Extremely Convient"
This hotel is in the right place. Self-Parking Garage is next door, about 10 restaurants are within a 1 minute walk, and the area is nice, clean, and safe. The provided breakfast was the best free breakfast I've had at a hotel. Next time I'm in town, I'm staying here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It will be fixed tomorrow"
This should not be a Marriot with the quality of the management team. I had one problem after another with the room and the "help" I recieved from management was " it will be fixed tomorrow" and of course in most cases it was not. Don't count on the wireless Internet working. Again this was it will be fixed tomorrow on your floor (was not) so the next […] day they sent me to support in India and after a wasted hour of my time it will be fixed tomorrow. I should have stayed at motel 6 instead of a room costing way too much a night and POOR service. By the way, yes the manager asked me if there was something they could do to make my stay more comfortable ... Just fix all of the problems or charge a fair rate. "Great Customer Service with High Quality Room"
Perfect location with only a 5-8 minute drive to Alexandria. Fireworks on the weekends, with great restaurants (but not the pizzeria on the boardwalk which over charges for personal pizzas) and desert locations. "My Wonderful Stay at National Harbor"
We had an excellent stay at the Residence Inn. The complementary breakfasts were wonderful, and we had a fridge, microwave, stovetop, and even a dishwasher in our room. The cupboards were stocked with the pans, plates, glasses, and silverware that we needed. There was a gourmet grocery store within walking distance that sold some regular groceries (milk, […] fruit, etc.) along with specialty items. We were able to save restaurant costs by making our own meals. We will definitely stay at the Residence Inn again next time we are visiting the National Harbor. "Connectivity Issues"
I was put up in a handicapped accessible room - both wired and wireless internet did not work and to call support both phones did not work. The technician came out at 11pm, but could not fix it. I called internet support from my cell phone and they could not fix it even after level 2 support. It killed all my meetings I had that night and in the morning.
