Downtown Santa Fe has some of the nation’s oldest buildings. The Palace of the Governors has been in use since the early 1600s. For 400 years, Santa Fe Plaza has hosted markets and special events. West of the plaza, Santuario de Guadalupe is the oldest U.S. shrine to the Virgin Mary. The New Mexico State Capitol is also downtown. "Great Concierge/Desk clerk"
The afternoon Front desk clerk or Concierge, Matt, was absolutely wonderful. He provided us lots of information about what to do and where to go. He was very friendly and helpful often going out of his way to greet us or help us. The hotel was clean and convenient to old Santa Fe and central to just about everything but Matt is what we'll remember from […] our stay there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A gem!"
There are lots of places to stay, but this hotel had everything you could ask for! Free breakfast, free parking, free internet! Some hotels charge extra for these things, plus the location was perfect!! Never needed to take the car out except for when we went to play golf! Would recommend!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a suite which was a nice treat. The couch and chairs need to be replaced, but the rest of the suite was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom even had a jacuzzi tub! We enjoyed the property, the location and the very courteous staff. Would definitely stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location; decent value"
Excellent location and staff. Room a bit small, but well designed - decent value for the location as everything near Santa Fe Plaza is expensive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great place to stay and nice staff"
We spent four nights here and really enjoyed it. I would stay again. The location is close enough to the plaza that you can walk and not deal with parking. Bfst was great and coffee and tea available all day. Our room was very nice and the staff was helpful and friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"First Time and Won't Be the Last"
I've been visiting Santa Fe for over 10 years. This is the first stay at the Old Santa Fe Inn. We'll definitely stay there again. Here's why: > Proximity - It's a leisurely 5 minute walk to the plaza or over to the cool new Railyard (Santa Fe Depot) area. > Relaxing - Super quiet and the plantation shutters totally darken the room to enjoy a nice nap […] after a big New Mexican lunch! > Comforts - Fresh and hot Starbucks coffee always available in the lobby library. Hot cookies start at 4:00pm. Breakfast burrito bar. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location"
The location of the Old Santa Fe Inn was very convenient to the plaza. The room (a junior suite) was small but comfortable. The main problem was the noise. We had the windows open to enjoy the crisp autumn air, but the noise was horrible. Because you face the parking lot and the room was on the first floor, we heard loud conversation day and night and […] we heard cars on the gravel of the lot. Fianlly, the parking was a problem on our final day there because the hotel was probably full. The staff was very nice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Value"
We were very pleased to find such a nice, yet affordable hotel so close to the plaza. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was better than average. Good experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"All great until the END!"
We had a great experience at the hotel, the people where nice and the location is amazing. We were disappointed that my husband's wedding ring was lost/stolen while there. He left it on the sink counter and when we returned it was missing. I could not have fallen down the drain as it wouldn't fit. The staff was very nice but we did notice that the […] cleaning staff kept starring at us as we complained and left the next day. We hope it turns up...but we will see. "Excellent"
What a pleasant surprise in the heart of Santa Fe. We walked to everything we wanted to do & see. The Staff were friendly and very helpful & the free breakfast was a real plus. We highly recommend this place and plan on a return trip soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old Santa Fe Inn - hidden deal!"
Free breakfast at their Burrito Bar, wifi (if you want it), and free parking within 2-3 blocks of all the major Santa Fe attractions (e.g., The Plaza). Super deal and much cheaper than all the downtown spots that charge for parking, etc. Highly recommended. Oh, and don't miss the Starbucks on tap all day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointed Given All The Great Reviews...Just OK"
I was really surprised after seeing all of the glowing ratings and reviews for this place. When checking in, the lobby looked nice. The staff person at the desk wasn't all that friendly at first, but then slowly warmed up. All of the raved-about cookies were gone, and were never replenished. The place is called an "inn," but is nothing more than a […] motel with a good (yet 10-year-old )remodel job. Parking is in a gravel lot, and the spaces are way too narrow. The key cards to the door didn't work very well at all. The decoration style looked great, but it was clear that the remodel job was 8-10 years old... Scratches and dings all over the furniture, stains on the carpet, trim pieces missing, etc. The TV was an old "tube" style...and a very small one at that. As others mentioned, the rooms are small, but I didn't think it was too bad. The pillows were way too over-stuffed and felt cheap. I thought the bed itself was okay, but felt a little worn out. Traffic noise at night was a little loud at times. The soaps, shampoos, etc. provided were all great. Breakfast was pretty good. The burrito bar definitely saved it from being a run-of-the-mill generic hotel breakfast. Great local breads and some juices. Very nice and friendly breakfast staff. The other food was pretty standard....a selection of two of dry cereals, oatmeal packets, mediocre yogurt, and canned peaches. The clerk at check-out was nice but frazzled, and was unable to provide us a printed receipt. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"So convenient"
Great place to stay, within easy reach of Downtwon Santa Fe, about 5 minutes walk to The Plaza. We had a deluxe suite so I can't comment on standard rooms, the suite was great. The afternoon cookies and chips and dips were a really nice touch, bit embarrassing to see some guests racing in and acting like pigs at a trough though :( It's a shame that […] breakfast closes at 9:30, just half an hour later would be more leisurely - however, there's a great place just out of the hotel and to the right across the road where you can eat in or take out but it's only open during office hours. We'd stay at The Inn again, reception staff are especially helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"great hotel in the centre of town"
stayed one night at this fab hotel. the guy on check in was friendly, very efficient and helpful and had a passion for the hotel and the town. the hotel was a couple of blocks from the plaza. the room was spotlessly clean and had good amenities. free breakfast was good, and fresh backed cookies in the afternoon were delicious. there were three computers […] for guest use near the lobby. plenty of parking spaces as well. only thing missing was a pool.
