It is really an old hotel and I think it needs some upgrading. This spring break I travelled Florida with almost all satying in Super 8, and this hotel is the most disappointed one. "WOULDN'T RECOMMEND FOR MY NEIGHBOR'S ANNOYING DOG"
The linen in the bathroom was so disgusting, I grabbed the hotel maid and asked her to remove it. There was a dirty towel in there that looked liked it was all bloody. I went to Walmart and bought my own towels. There were holes in the sheets and they were off white. Not sure if there was blood or coffee splattered on the bed skirt. The area was scary and hotel locks the door at night and you have to bang on door to wake up clerk to let you in, because even they dont want people from street coming in. It was not worth the money at all. I was better off sleeping in my car. That was another problem: walking from parking lot to the hotel at night was scary and pool was a disgrace. Not even chairs outside for you to sit on. I wouldn't even put my feet in it if there were chairs. Also, instead of having one floor for smoking and one for non smoking, they had smoking rooms at the beginning o the hall so the whole hall smelled like an ashtray. There is free breakfast if that's what they call it ... They ran out of cups, milk, cream, coffee was watered down. No fresh fruit either... If you call breakfast water then that was nice... When we arrived it we were tired we drove from New Jersey. The carpet needs cleaning in the room. The clerk name Ms. Patricia was very rude upon our departure. This hotel is old and outdated and in a rather creepy neighborhood. We thought Super 8 had a good reputation but this one was not one we would recommend. I thought just needing a place to sleep was good enough but ruined my holiday by trying to save 30 dollars. "Never again"
First impressions not good. Cars are parked at the side of the hotel so all baggage has to be dragged to the front. Lobby looks dirty and carpets looked like they hadn't bee cleaned in a long time. Evening receptionist surly and scruffy. Not a please or thank you uttered. If I hadn't already prepaid I would have turned round and gone elsewhere.
