The dilapidated wheel on the cart disintigrated on the way in, spilling the contents, which ruined one of my bags. They didn't have coffee packets for... in the rooms. There was a nice guy who made me coffee earlier than the breakfast room coffee started because of that. The next day they still had no packets for in the room. That was a drag, as I wanted to make my own (a little stronger) in the room. Overall I was satisfied with my stay in Chelsea, MI at the Holiday Inn Express. My only complaint was that the room did not have a fridge. I was under the impression that the room would have one and when we got there, there was not one in our room. When I asked the front desk they said that they would have one in there by the end of the night. We never […] received one, even after reminding them at least two times. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. I was in town for a family reunion - and they made a special effort to accommodate a small gathering and made everyone feel welcome. The room was clean and comfortable.

This hotel was hidden back off the main road. And with the exception of noisy neighbors and inconsiderate guests in the lobby the stay was rather pleasant. Come lady, you don't need to be on your cell phone having a personal conversation at the front desk. The clerk didn't need to hear it and neither did I.

Close enough to Ann Arbor when the hotels are full from U of M games or events. Staff is friendly, close to town. Cleary's Pub a great place to eat. The only thing I disliked is they always have feather pillows and I think they can be quite uncomfortable. The breakfast is wonderful and a great selection to choose from.
