The Cody is nice but a bit pricey. We did try out the pool and hot tub which was OK as well as the complimentary breakfast. The S’mores at night was a big hit with my daughter. The Cody is a nice 3star hotel. The problem is that it perceives itself as a 5star. It proclaims itself as a luxury hotel on it's entrance. The price was outrageous for what the hotel is. A luxury hotel would have lots of people caring for the guests. Not so much at the Cody. At a luxury hotel, the rooms a quiet because they are designed to be quiet. […] At the Cody, they have very heavy wooden doors that slam and make noise. I could here kids running up and down the halls. The woman at the desk recommended the "best restaurant in Cody, hands down." It was across the street next to the Rodeo Grounds. There was lots of seating in the lobby, the kind that beckons you to relax and stay there awhile. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Our goal was Yellowstone National Park. It was a very simple trip from The Cody to Yellowstone. A direct route to the East Entrance.
