Situated across the Potomac River in Virginia, the Ronald Reagan National Airport is the closest airport to downtown DC. Visitors can take a car or hop on the Metrorail to get to the capital or its area suburbs. The hotels and office buildings of Crystal City rise near the airport. Neighboring Pentagon City is home to two upscale developments, The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City and Pentagon Row.

The location is great, it's clean, BUT 1) when we arrived, they had sold the room we had reserved and paid for (with 2 queens), and we had no choice but to accept another room with 1 king and 1 sofa: of course for our 2 daughters, it was much less comfortable (smaller size, poor mattress quality). They offered the parking for the night because of that. […] AND the breakfast was terribly crowded (the same on the following day), they have not enough room and tables for their hotel capacity, many people had to go back to their room with their breakfast. And they were unable to provide the food until 10am, which means that after 9am, you could not get any more fruit salad, muffins or donuts... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Cannot sleep with air-conditioner on"
The hotel looks good, and their photos look very nice. For example the swimming pool is actually smaller than appeared in photo. Kids were disappointed and did not want to swim. The room was dusty but it may be ok to others. The air-conditioner was noisy, so we turned it off for sleep. We were lucky because the weather was not too cold nor too hot. […] Staffs were very nice. Free breakfast was good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hampton Inn in Arlington, Va"
Employees were accommodating. A real plus was the elaborate, delicious breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. However, I was unable to fall asleep due to poor bedding; ie, the bed comforter was "balled-up," too heavy and in poor condition. Also, the pillows were very puffy and totally uncomfortable- not conducive to a good night's […] sleep. Would have preferred a few medium weight blankets and a low soft pillow. Also the rooms were much too expensive and there was no flexibility in charge for the room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hampton Reagan National"
This room was comfortable, but it was not clean. It was dirty and smelled. The bathroom smelled of urine and the bedding did not smell clean. I would not stay here again.
