Was a little wary about booking this room as there were no prior reviews and hotel information on the hotels.com website was limited. Called hotels.com... and they confirmed my reservation and gave me the direct # to call. Spoke w/ a very pleasant woman who explained this was corporate housing and not a traditional hotel and they had a concierge available until 2am for late check-ins. We had a 2-bedroom fully-furnished apartment. It was very quiet and had lots of room for 2 people. It would be a great value for a family as there were 2 separate bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. And the a parking pass is included w/ the cost of the room. I only wish they provided coffee filters, but that's because I'm a coffee addict. The Ballston Metro (orange line) was only a block away and there were plenty of places to eat nearby in addition to a large shopping mall complex. There's also a great open air mall 2 metro stops east @ Clarendon. Getting into DC each day was a cinch on the metro. About 5 stops to the Smithsonian and a bit further to the capital. Definitely recommend the Meridian for an extended stay and especially for families. by a Hotels.com guest on 11/03/10

"Full apartment - great value - 1 block from metro"
