"Good Value"
My family and I were satisfied with our room and stay at the Comfort Inn. It is not all that easy to find, as it is located off the street behind a Best Western Hotel, but we did find it. "Very Friendly staff"
The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The shuttles were crowded and needed be more frequent. The breakfast was very good. The shuttle and subway did add about an hour to the trip (each way). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is sight seeing in DC. This hotel is conveniently just about 8 minutes from DC. There is a pool and the A/C was very easy to power and adjust. I really enjoyed their breakfast. They had cereal, eggs, breakfast sausages, waffles, toast, coffee, juice, muffins, bagels, and even donuts. The only thing I didn't enjoy too much was the attitude of service. When I asked for another pen, the maid gave me a pen that had no cap, and was covered in dust and dirt. although we were disappointed that the hotel wasnt actually near the pentagon and wished their free shuttle came more frequently than once an hour, we actually did greatly appreciate the value at this hotel. The staff were friendly. The room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable. The a/c worked well and was not too loud. The included breakfast was very good. I got my eggs made the way I wanted with bacon, home fries, toast, coffee, and juice. There was a continental breakfast, but I wanted a hot breakfast. Staff forgot to tell me, when I inquired by phone two days earlier about shuttle service from DCA Metro, that shuttle service ends at Midnight. I arrived at Union Station at 2330, hopped on Metro, arrived at DCA Metro at 0012. Phoned hotel for shuttle pickup: "Sorry, shuttle's over.
