Love the location right near Pentagon City mall and metro stop. The hotel was very nice but was disappointed the fitness room was closed for renovation or I might have stayed elsewhere. They did offer a pass to LA Fitness which was a nice club, about a 10 minute walk. Unfortunately was there during spring break so the breakfast area was packed with […] families and kids, no place to sit and no trays to carry breakfast back to the room. Also don't like there is no service elevator. So you wait for a long time for an elevator to find it arrives full of linen carts and housekeeping staff. The room was nice, clean, and very quiet which is the most important thing. Kitchenette was also nice, but not sure why these hotels don't have safes in them. Indoor pool and hot tub were nice. Had a great stay at the Residence Inn Pentagon City. We arrived early and were accommodated right away by the desk personnel with our rooms. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable with down comforters. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel offered free dinner in addition to breakfast. A free shuttle bus […] takes guests to various spots within a mile radius there is also a free shuttle to and from the airport. The only complaint that I have is WiFi is only available in the lobby area. Free Internet is available in the room but only via wired access which didn't help me with my iPad. The Residence Inn met my minimal needs: it was clean and convenient, being a reasonable walk from the Pentagon City metro station. And the room was spacious and had a kitchenette and microwave. "Convenient to Reagan Airport - Great Breakfast!"
We stayed here just for a quick overnight stay, so were actually there less than 12 hours. We arrived late, but the people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The hot and continental breakfast was great....but be sure to get there on time....they turn everything off right at the time they publicize that it ends. Was way more than I expected […] for the price we paid for the rooms. If you need a shuttle to the hotel from the airport, make sure to call the hotel directly and let them know you are there waiting. They pick up at several other Marriott hotels in the area, so you may wait for awhile. Also, traffic in the DC area can affect their routes when roads are closed for construction/accidents, etc.... We were traveling with 2 adults and 4 kids and usually we can't find a room to fit us. This hotel was perfect! The room was a good size with a refrig, microwave, stovetop table and chairs. My family and I were quite satisfied with our experience at the Residence Inn Pentagon City. The staff went above and beyond. They had a free shuttle service that was available at any time of the day or night that would bring you within a 3 mile radiance from the hotel. This hotel is just about as close as it's possible to get to the Pentagon. It is also close to Pentagon City Metro station and Shopping Mall.
