We had a last minute scramble for a hotel and Holiday Inn Rosslyn worked out very well. We came to D.C. to see the sights and this hotel had very reasonable rates. The hotel is in a great location to Georgetown and the metro. The hotel itself is also in good condition and the room is comfortable. Unfortunately, at 2am someone pulled the fire alarm and we all had to evacuate the hotel. This hotel is in a great location as a base to tour Washington and Northern Virginia. The Metro is only a block and a half way. Parking near DC is a nightmare and the fact that this hotel has a garage on-site is the reason I stayed. As far as the hotel goes, it was above average. The location is perfect as you are DIRECTLY next to the Key Bridge, so easy access to Georgetown while still having a great view of downtown DC. The staff went above and beyond. While in the city, someone broke into our car, breaking out a window. I asked the folks at the front desk for a broom and dust pan so I could clean up the glass when back at […] the hotel. The maintenance man, Nicolas, saw the damage, insisted he would clean the remaining glass we knocked out of what remained in the window and then had us park downstairs where he and another maintenance man proceeded to GO TO TOWN with the shop vac removing ALL of the glass from the inside of the car. We were looking for a hotel with free parking since we intended on exploring Virgina as well as DC. Easy access to the Metro. We could walk to Georgetown. This was a good hotel, great for the location, good for the stay. I didn't spend too much time here, I was out visiting friends most of the time. The bed was very comfortable, view was nice, room was clean and large. Walls were a little thin, but its an older hotel, which you can tell with the furniture and bathroom. The first night I called, the cab never came and I ended up having to drive to the location I was supposed to be going. The second night, I called very early for a cab and even though this one showed up, the front desk didn't tell me the cab was there and they left. Old and dated hotel which has obviously had no modernization. Wall paper peeling off the walls, stained lampshades and miserable staff!! An excellent location with free parking but not enough to outweigh the bad points especially when upon arriving home I had been charged TWICE for the room!! Das Rosslyn at Key Bridge liegt in einem Geschaeftsviertel von Arlington, die Metro ist in ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Von hier sind es 3 Stationen zu Metro Center und 4 Stationen zu den Smithonian Museen. In der Umgebung befinden sich eine Menge Restaurants und Fastfood Ketten, so dass man auch nicht zwingend nach Washington reinfahren muss […] um etwas zu essen zu finden. Wer plant mit dem Bus aus New York anzureisen, die Firma Tripperbus haelt an dieser Metro Station und der Service ist guenstig und gut(inkl. Wifi). Unser Zimmer war im 14. Stock und recht gerauemig. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem. Der kostenlose Wifi Internetzugang funktionierte tadellos. Es wurden waehrend unserem Aufenthalt mehrere Pizza Flyer unter der Tuer durchgeschoben. Leider haben wir bei einem Anbieter bestellt, das war mit Abstand die schlechteste Pizza die ich je gegessen habe. Die Pizzeria ist allerdings nicht Teil des Hotels.
