We were given a perhaps larger than usual room - maybe because we were staying 4 nights. Everything was fine; the room, the view were great. This is my second time here, and I have to say that for the value it cannot be beat. It is a short walk (~2 Blocks) to the Rosslyn Metro which will place you in any of the main areas of DC within a 30 minute ride. The times I have stayed here, there has been free parking so it just suited me and my Fiance to take in all of DC. The only things I found that were in err, was that on my floor that I was staying at the vending machine was sold out of water and diet cola, which I had to take the elevator one floor down to get a diet cola since that machine was also out of water. The floor we were also on did have a strange smell which by the second day we were there seemed to have seeped into our room. But it was not a repugnant smell that would've made me change my room. Usually, my concerns are cleanliness, type of neighborhood, hotel security, parking, etc. This place is now on my trustworthy list for the DC area. Add those to the fact that it is close to the metro, which is 5-10 minutes from all the DC sights and you find one place you will be glad to go to.
