The Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Va., is adjacent to the Reagan National Airport and accessible from Interstate 395. The hotel is less than two miles from the Pentagon and less than four miles from the White House in Washington, D.C.

Situated across the Potomac River in Virginia, the Ronald Reagan National Airport is the closest airport to downtown DC. My Assoc picked this hotel it is pleasant Staff was great. Bldg starting to show signs of wear, but nothing major. The group supper buffet was done poorly. Only 2 serving stations for 1,000 people. "Very enjoyable 4 day stay"
A nice, business oriented hotel in Crystal City. I used the shuttle regularly to the Metro Station as well as to Reagan airport. The hotel was beautiful, the area was nice, there were restaurants conveniently close with good food. Most hotels (including the Renaissance Hotel I stayed at two weeks ago) provide a complimentary wifi option in the rooms. "Avoid if you need car parking"
Selected Hotel for close proximity to Washington Reagan Airport. Hotel is situated at a busy corner with no space to park even while checking in. When we arrived there was absolute chaos at the entrance bay. We drove out and parked about 250 metres away and walked back. There is only valet parking here but there seemed to be long waits for cars to be […] dropped off or retrieved. We decided to drop the rental car off at the airport the evening before to avoid the parking hassles and took the hotel shuttle to return. Every time we entered or left the hotel, the general air of mayhem prevailed. Check in was efficient and room up to usual Hyatt standard but no fridge and only 2 tea bags supplied. We had to leave our bags at the Porters Box for a short time and on both occasions were hassled for tips. I'm happy to do so for good service but this was almost intimidation. In contrast, the guys running the shuttle bus were extremely efficient and helpful. This was a nice hotel, but I almost wish it were a little LESS "nice". I really didn't feel like it was any more luxurious than a Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn-type hotel. "Close to downtown, expensive additional items"
My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City for a mini-vacation. We were very pleased with the service and location. It is within walking distance of the metro (ab .5-1 mile) or you can take the shuttle which runs every 15 minutes. Do NOT order breakfast in bed- it was over-priced and neither of us really cared for what we got (quality […] not worth the price). I tried to order a glass of wine and bring it to my room which they do not allow- however at other Hyatts I have stayed at they have bottles for purchase in the gift shop or you can bring your glass up to your room. It would have made it more relaxing to be able to not have to stay in the hotel bar. The WIFI is not free- you pay $25 for 48 hrs of use which is pretty expensive considering other Hyatts I have stayed at provide it for free.
