The Hyatt Arlington is located four blocks from Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. The cemetery grounds were officially designated as a military cemetery in 1864 and now hold more than 300,000 from all the nation's wars. The Lincoln Memorial and the White House are within two miles. The Rosslyn Metro Station is across the street from this Arlington, Va., hotel. The National Aquarium and Vietnam Veterans Memorial are less than two miles away.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our trip to D.C. Perfect location! The hotel was located in a nice neighborhood.. there's some restaurants very close by and a CVS two blocks up which is convenient. The hotel is literally 2 blocks from the metro station which is just a 8 minute ride to D.C. The hotel staff was very nice and super helpful. The room […] was very clean and comfortable. This is our second time staying at the Hyatt. We went there last year for vacation and again ths year for a get away/vacation. It is close to the Metro. We didn't even drive our car once we got there. We walked to the restaurants close-by and took the Metro to the mall and other places of interests. Once we checked in, the hotel associate asked us if […] we had a floor preference. So we got a room on the 15th floor. We also went and checked out our room and realize we had just a shower and not a bath tub. We had requested both a shower and tub. We went back to the desk and they were happy to change rooms for us. "Horrible Service!!"
My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel because it was so close to the airport. We had a 6:00 AM flight out of Regan. When I checked in I asked if a taxi could pick us up at 3:45 am to take us to the airport. The clerk laughed and said that if I had a 6:00 AM flight the earliest the taxi should be at the hotel would be 4:30 or 4:45. I wanted […] to be at the airport early but with his insisting I told him 4:15 would be the latest I would want the taxi there. He still felt this was too early, but he said there would be a taxi. That night we asked for a wake up call at 3:45 am. We never received our wake up call and I woke up panicked at 4:15. I called the front desk and explained we didn't receive our wake up call and asked him to hold the taxi and that we would be down as soon as we could. We raced down to the lobby around 4:30 and the front desk clerk gave us the worst service we have ever experienced. First, he didn't know how to work the computer, he said someone had turned on the pop-up blockers so we couldn't print our boarding tickets out. He said he couldn't help. Then he said I could use his computer behind the desk. Once I got over there he disappeared. I had no idea where to print to or what to do with the computer. He never can back and he never told the taxi to wait. So we are in an empty hotel lobby at 4:45 with no taxi and our flight boarding in 30 min. I was furious. My girlfriend and I stayed at this Arlington Hyatt for a Washington D.C. vacation that we took Summer 2011. Everywhere in D.C. was significantly more expensive, so we decided to stay on the outskirts of town. The hotel is very nice inside and the rooms are extremely comfortable. There is a Metro station right across the street which is only about a […] fifteen minute ride into town. The parking garage is pretty confusing to navigate through, but we eventually figured it out. Bathrooms don't have a fan, which is kind of a negative, but easy to overlook. The fitness center is very nice: several brand new treadmills and ellipticals, 2 benches and a nice set of free weights. They also have yoga mats and big exercise balls. My gf and I also purchased tickets to Kings Dominion and the front desk allowed us to print the tickets out. Very friendly staff. I chose this hotel because it is very close to the Rosslyn Metro station. I had no trouble locating the hotel (take the steps immediately to the right after you exit the station gates to save walking around the block) and the service was excellent. The king room was up to usual standards and I liked that, instead of the typical tub/shower combination, […] it was a generously sized walk-in shower. Downsides: internet in your room was an extra charge. No free breakfast. Parking was expensive (but convenient). Positives: There is a Ruby Tuesday's just across the street and many eateries within a couple of blocks. Loved the hotel, and the metro was right accross street-was there for Wizards/Spurs game. If you can, get the breakfast buffet, good start to the morning. We stayed at Hyatt Arlington during our visit to Washing DC. The location was great, just across the street from the subway station and it only takes a short subway ride to get to The Mall (Smithsonian Station).
