The Hyatt Arlington is located four blocks from Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. The cemetery grounds were officially designated as a military cemetery in 1864 and now hold more than 300,000 from all the nation's wars. The Lincoln Memorial and the White House are within two miles. The Rosslyn Metro Station is across the street from this Arlington, Va., hotel. The National Aquarium and Vietnam Veterans Memorial are less than two miles away.

The Hyatt Arlington serves freshly grilled seafood at Cityhouse restaurant. The eatery features panoramic views of the city and the menu changes every two to three months. Key Bridge Terrace - This comfortable and friendly lounge overlooks the business district of Rosslyn. Light fare is served during the afternoon, evening, and daily happy hour. The lounge features martinis and a number of micro-brewed beers. A big-screen TV keeps track of important news and sports events.

The road to Arlington passes by the solemn Lincoln Memorial and leads to hallowed ground: the Arlington National Cemetery. This resting spot includes the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the graves of John F. and Robert Kennedy. Arlington County is home to other symbols of US military might, including the Pentagon and the US Marine Corps War Memorial, better known as the Iwo Jima Memorial.

"Nice Place"
I stay here often for business and it was a descent stay. The breakfast downstairs was not the best, food was not as fresh as I would have liked it (potatoes were hard and you could tell had been there a while) but service was good. my only real complaint was the Valet parking, after the first night someone lost our tag and every time after that when […] we called for our car it was like the three stooges trying to find our car. The last night they lost our keys completely and thankfully I had a spare set so they could wander the parking garage using the alarm to locate our vehicle. For $25 per night I would expect better service than that and explained to the valet this but since nobody really spoke english I just got a bunch of nodding and smiling. anyway I still tipped well and just wrote it off...nice hotel though! Overall, the hotel service was exceptionally good, helpful, and pleasant. My only criticism is that I was not told at check-in specifically at what levels I should self-park my car; consequently, on my second day there, I discovered that I had unwittingly left it at a place where it might have been towed had I not happened to go to get something out […] of it and run into the garage manager. The latter gentleman was very nice and completely understanding and helpful, but the fact remains that, through no fault of my own, I had left the car somewhere that might have gotten it towed. "It'll do!"
Arrived and was told that our reservation could not be fulfilled (two double beds). We were then given a king and cot, but eventually within a few hours, our situation was resolved. The room I requested wasn't available so I was given a substitute. The cooling/fan system required repair (after my first uncomfortable night). The internet didn't work the second day and I spent time on the phone with a tech to get it going again. However, the hotel took off the charge. There was no replinishment over the 3 days of soap, shampoo, only […] coffee was put in the bathroom each day. I made repeated trips to the front desk because my room key didn't work. Otherwise, the hotel was in a great location, personnel friendly, room was pleasant, and check in and out were efficient. The Hyatt Arlington was a plaeasant surprise. It was emaculent, excellent service, and only two block from the metro subway system. There are excellent restaurants up and down Wilson Blvd all walking distance and you can easily see all of D.C from the Hyatt and just walk 5 minutes to Georgetown. My AC in room was not working as it was saying "lock", I emailed the manager and did not get his respond until I had already checked out the next day. I did not sleep well due to being warm in the room. I am Deaf so email was the only way I could reach someone but it was not done in a timely manner. :(Genuine Hotels.com guest review
