There is nothing much around this Hotel, other than the convenience of the Rosslyn train station. The hotel certainly shows its age and for a Hyatt Hotel was a major disappointment. The lobby is like a two star hotel, the amenities almost nil and the service under par. The second day we had no bath mat or soap in our room after housekeeping completed […] their services. Personally, I would be more careful in choosing my hotels from now, in spite of the ratings on Expedia and other websites.and it is hardly likely that I would choose a Hyatt....this was the first and possibly the last...My Son stayed across the river in Washington DC at the Washington Hilton and I must give credit to Hilton Hotels and their group, they run a really nice operation. "they tried to switch rooms on me"
I booked a room with one type of bed and they tried to give me a completely different type of room. While they eventually gave me the type of bed I booked, it made me rather grumpy after a long trip. Otherwise, it was comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Horrible Service!!"
My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel because it was so close to the airport. We had a 6:00 AM flight out of Regan. When I checked in I asked if a taxi could pick us up at 3:45 am to take us to the airport. The clerk laughed and said that if I had a 6:00 AM flight the earliest the taxi should be at the hotel would be 4:30 or 4:45. I wanted […] to be at the airport early but with his insisting I told him 4:15 would be the latest I would want the taxi there. He still felt this was too early, but he said there would be a taxi. That night we asked for a wake up call at 3:45 am. We never received our wake up call and I woke up panicked at 4:15. I called the front desk and explained we didn't receive our wake up call and asked him to hold the taxi and that we would be down as soon as we could. We raced down to the lobby around 4:30 and the front desk clerk gave us the worst service we have ever experienced. First, he didn't know how to work the computer, he said someone had turned on the pop-up blockers so we couldn't print our boarding tickets out. He said he couldn't help. Then he said I could use his computer behind the desk. Once I got over there he disappeared. I had no idea where to print to or what to do with the computer. He never can back and he never told the taxi to wait. So we are in an empty hotel lobby at 4:45 with no taxi and our flight boarding in 30 min. I was furious. My AC in room was not working as it was saying "lock", I emailed the manager and did not get his respond until I had already checked out the next day. "Awful experience"
We stayed here for the first time as we were in town for the Rolling Thunder bike rally. This hotel did not deliver what it reports. Room services was not good, the Key Bridge Terrace bartender could not make two of their signature drinks correctly (at $11 a pop they should be drinkable), we did not have room cleaning for all three days of our stay, […] parking keys did not work, and we had to complain to the manager on duty just to get maintain up to look at the bath tub. After we had been out all day in the hot sun (8-3), we had been promised the bath tub's drain would be fixed it was not. We have a 5 month baby that needed a bath badly and we couldn't even bath her. Then we realized the room had not been touched even though housekeeping was across the hall when we left that morning. Jennifer, the manager on duty, told us it takes at least 8 hrs for your room to be cleaned since their hotel is so big. Well we often come to DC and stay at the larger chains but this is the first time our room had not been serviced. Trust me....stay somewhere else! Hotel looks very nice and for the price I paid was more than comfotable. I gave a bad review because in the same time with us a group of 20-30 kids (14-18 yrs) checked-in in the hotel .They made a lot of noise until 4 AM in both the nights we stayed there and nobody did nothing. "Not what I reserved"
I was in DC with my fiance celebrating his 28th birthday with friends that lived close by. Upon arrival, we were told that the king bed that we reserved a few weeks prior was no longer available. We had to take a room with 2 double [very small] beds instead. My fiance and I ended up sleeping in separate beds. It ruined our weekend. We got comped a breakfast. "Room smelled like smoke, hotel staff not friendly"
I was very disappointed. It was fairly expensive to book a King Business Plan room for 3 nights and when I checked in I was told they had no more King Business Plan rooms available, even though that was what I prepaid for. The staff was not apologetic or particularly nice about this. I ended up in a handicapped room where the shower was a foot shorter […] than I am (I'm 5'6) and the toilet seat was broken. The room also smelled like stale cigarette smoke that they had tried to cover up with some sort of strong room freshner. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. I paid for Wifi and signed on using my Ipad. I then wanted to use my computer and was told I would have to pay again for the second device. RIPE OFF. this is ridiculous. Given the 4 star reviews, I was not expecting such a tiny, cramped, room. There was not an available outlet for the coffeemaker, so I wound up putting the appliance in the bathroom. The whole room was taken up by a bed and a tiny wing chair. 設備ではやはりバスタブがなく、シャワーだけというのが難点かも。3泊しましたが、インターネットが有料なのはマイナスだけど有線LANもあったのは良かったです。ただ、。いつも朝9時くらいにベッドメーキングでノックされるのは嫌でした。交通は、ダレス空港からバスで直接来られるし、メトロの駅にも非常に近く便利です。スーパー(Safeway)もすぐなので、買い物も困りません。Genuine Hotels.com guest review
