We were only in OC for about 24 hours. We had planned it after Labor day because we knew it would be less crowded and less expensive. We asked for a 12 noon checkout so we could go swimming in the pool or the ocean and have time to come back to the hotel for showers and checkout but they were too full to allow us to do that. We really liked our stay. The rooms are a little bit older, but very clean. The room was very large with fridge and microwave. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the location was close to lots of restaurants, shops, beach, boardwalk down the street.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sea Bay. Our room in the West building was clean and spacious, and actually overlooked a second, smaller, more private hotel pool. I enjoyed the Seabay because the location was great for a family trip. Eventhough it was on the bay side, it was pretty much in between the resort side and hotel side of OC. Majority of the staff was friendly, the hotel was pretty quiet, and security was always watching the hotel and parking lot so I was comfortable about parking and leaving my car […] to shop and go to the beach. My only complaint was the pools were small and the room could have been a little cleaner, but overall the stay was great! THe hotel is conveniently located right off of 90. THe staff was very friendly....always saying hello and holding the door open for you. The room was sparkling clean and smelled good. Thanks Dorcel!! The hotel staff was not welcoming. We had traveled many hours to reach the hotel and were not able to check in as our room was not ready. We left our contact information for the staff to call us when our room was available and never received a call back. The hotel walls do not block out the sound of others. This was our first stay in Ocean City. We've made several day trips to Ocean City in the past but this was the first time we booked a hotel and stayed several nights. Our room was dark and it gave us the feel of being grimy, the carpet was dark and it contained several large stains, the sofa was also dark and it also appeared to be unclean. The bathroom […] seem to be newly remodeled but very small with the smallest sink I've ever seen. We requested a different room after the second night and received a smaller room (without the sofa bed) but much nicer on the bay side. It was a much brighter room with newer carpet and a larger bathroom. We were much happier in this room even though we still planned to spend as less time in the room as possible. If we ever plan to go back to Ocean City for any extended stays we would definitely spend the extra money for nicer accommodations or try to guarantee a room on the bay side of the hotel with a view of the water instead of the parking lot. I must say the staff was very helpful and friendly. Read more

We found the hotel to be very acceptable for the price. Our room size was ample and it was clean and comfortable. It was very convenient to have a cafe downstairs where breakfast or lunch could be purchased. The beach was about a block away, and crossing a six-lane highway to get there was not as stressful as I had thought it would be. In midtown Ocean City, one block from Route 90 expressway. Two buildings, Bay side and street side. Booking through Hotels.com gets you a good rate, but also the street side. If you can check in before they are all filled up, you can ask for the Bay side and they might give it to you. both building have a parking lot side. would rather take .the street […] side building facing the tennis courts (not part of hotel), which, iff you get a low even numbered room (2, 4, etc), you will have. The hotel is well maintained with a very pleasant staff. The Cafe is no great shakes for breakfast, but after trying a buffet nearby (Hall's), would rather stick with the Cafe. Although we liked the hotel, next time we go back to Rehoboth. More expensive, but lot's more class. Read more

This motel was clean from the lobby, the pool to the the room. You get all the little things the big hotels have, such as hair dryer, iron, ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and coffees and the little shampoos and soaps. And it was only a short walk across a street, and then up one block to the ocean. The beds were comfortable. If you want to travel to the boardwalk there was an air conditioned bus that would pick you up in front of the motel for $3.00 a day for unlimited rides or a dollar a trip. We stayed at the Sea Bay 7-31 thru 8-3. The room was quite large and very clean. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave, I didn't see this on the list of amenities. The staff was friendly. Nice pool, not huge but decent size compared to many others I saw and very clean. A block to the beach was OK, the bus ride down to the boardwalk takes 10 minutes […] or so. (I wouldn't want to stay near the boardwalk, it's a zoo.) The hotel cafe has very good food at a resonable price but is only open until 2 pm. A convenience store is 1/2 block south. Dead Freddys Bar/Restaurant is 1/2 block north, this was a fun place with good food and live entertainment but suitable to bring our 11 year old. Make sure to take a walk to Fagers Island on 60th street, it is pretty. We also went to Assateugue Nat'l Park and saw the wild ponies, it is worth the 20 minute drive. Ripleys museum on the boardwalk was interesting but kind of pricey. I would stay in this hotel again. Read more

Very happy with our accomadations. Easy to get to. Close enough to the boardwalk to enjoy it, but far enough away to not be annoyed by it. My only negative is that it is on the bay side of the Coastal highway. We got a great rate through Hotels.com and checked into Sea Bay a few hours later. It was a very easy process. The hotel had a great location with a bus stop at the end of the parking lot that takes you to the boardwalk for $1. The pool was great and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Booked sight unseen. Well run and clean hotel. Had a diner but didn't eat there. Had a pool but didn't swim there. Went with 2 teenagers. Had a double room with roll out couch, so everyone had own bed. Would stay there again.
