we had a nice stay here. only thing we didn't like was the room ordering, and the food was very little. barely enough for one person. it was on the ocean and view was fantastic. didn't like the hill from the hallway to the office, it is steep and i nearly fell . but i would recommend this hotel to others.Genuine Expedia guest review

Got to the hotel early at 11 so couldn't check in yet- hit the beach and the outdoor pool for pina coladas. Watched our kids swim in the kids pool and check out the fish and tropical birds. The room was fantastic overlooking the beach! The next day hit the beach and checked out but still had access to all the hotel amenities. I thought the hotel was in excellent and pristine condition, especially the room. Several accomodations in the room were extremely convenient and nice to have. The atrium was beautiful and made the whole experience one I will never forget! I was pleasantly surprised by the number of "extras" that I did not expect . Even though Expedian promised me an ocean front room, we did not have one nor could Expedian even book on that side of the hotel..anyhow , the balcony over the Atrium was a great place to hang out as was the front balcony facing the pool !! (Maybe someone should speak to Expedian […] about that !!) ..... Our room was always cleaned !! One suggestion is that the "smoking area" be somewhere away from the hotel doors /lobby. As with hospitals and public facilities, smoking should be an area designated away from the building , so that the smoke is not drawn back into the rooms. We stayed this past Sunday night (June 3, 2012) and it was the cleanest I had ever seen it (we've stayed here before because of the indoor pool and the Atrium). This is a great hotel for a family vacation. It offers more than most hotels; fresh fruit, free coffee and newspapers in addition to a business center/kids' corner, outdoor and indoor pools and jacuzzis and a neat bar right in the atrium (which also serves drinks by the pool). Our room had a kitchenette and a balcony with ocean view, which was awesome. […] The beach is not too crowded, and it is a short driving distance to the boardwalk (probably 15 minutes). As a special trip for my anniversary with my spouse we were already excited to get away. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk and Night Manager were an absolute help. They made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Their customer service was exquisite and amazing. At check in I was very disappointed that it was not an ocean front room, although I was under the assumption that it was, however, the atrium view was beautiful.
