It would have been nice to know that our room was an outside entry room. In order to get to the pool and lounge. Plus there was no elevator on this side of the building which meant we had to lug our bags up the stairs.

I was disappointed in room and a few other parts of hotel. I tried to take into consideration that there is naturally wear and tear from the sea air. The room was smaller than expected. The bathroom was so old and outdated that it actually gave an unclean appearance with mildew stains and chipped paint etc. The kitchenette was so tiny it was practically […] useless. The first room we had was completely run down. The staff was nice and gave me a different room which was definitely in better condition. The door to the balcony was broken and did not lock. The pull out couch had rust and crud on the frame visible as soon as u opened it. The hallways were dim and outdated. The elevator was filthy and had a foul smell. The atrium, however, was great. The kids loved the birds and the coy pond. The outside pool area was nice. The inside pool and spa tubs, however, not so nice. The pool was in better condition than the spa tubs. When u looked down from the 5th floor u could see the bottom of the spa tubs and I couldnt figure out if it was dirt or if it was just dated. The view from our balcony made it all bearable. That was fantastic. Access to the beach was convenient and enjoyable. This place definitely fits the old saying that u pay for "location". I asked for a refund or to stay one night and be refunded the next 2 but because I paid through expedia I could not be refunded. I was locked in and had to stay. Read more

THIS IS NOT A SMOKE FREE HOTEL PEOPLE WERE SMOKING ALL OVER THE PLACE , I ENTERED MY ROOM AND THERE WAS A DIRTY RAG IN THE BATHROOM , I DID NOT NEED A CARD TO ENTER MY ROOM IT WAS ALREADY OPEN, I REQUESTED ANOTHER ROOM IT WAS NOT MUCH BETTER I FELT THE NEED TO DO A BEDBUG CHECK ON THE BEDS GLAD I BROUGHT MY DISINFECT WIPES TO CLEAN BATHROOM AND KITCHEN […] AREA. When we arrived, the elevator was not working so we had to carry our stuff up 3 flights. The beds were not comfortable at all and the room was outdated. The view from the room was wonderful though. It was nice to see the ocean from bed. However, the first of the two nights we were there, a drunk guy was banging on the door next door to us for 3 hours […] straight. We got very little sleep. The next night, the same guy hit the door several times next door before becoming confused and hitting on our door and pushing it. We talked to the front desk and they said they did not have security. They would call the police if needed. I didn't feel safe here, especially traveling with a young child. Our door entry/locking mechanism also broke. With the amount of money we paid to stay here...I would think hotel would be better and have security. It is in a nice location...but that is about it. I was so excited to go away to Ocean City for the first time with my husband and 4 children. I picked Quality Inn (although pricey I thought) based on the reviews. I don't know the big deal was and don't understand how this hotel has good ratings. It didn't even have an elevator on our side of the hotel and we were on the 3rd floor. My poor husband […] had to pull up the heavy luggage on his own up the stairs. I booked a suite looking to be as comfortable as possible with my family and feel at home being that we were staying there for 5 nights. We wanted a kitchen area so that way we could at least have breakfast and lunch in our room. As soon as we walked in the room was just a regular room with a pull out couch and a tiny kitchen area. Did not look or feel clean at all. The balcony floor had crumbs and a lot of garbage. The bathroom floor had hair on it. I pulled a sheet from the closet to lay on the floor for my baby and it had like pizza sauce on it. My husband went to get a spoon from the cabinet and the spoons were stuck together. My son pulled out an eyeliner that didn't belong to me from I don't know where. There was a white stain on the sofa. I had to send my husband out to get cleaning products because I was disgusted. I "Lysol-ed" everything. More like a dingy dirty hotel. For the rate I paid I expected much more. I stayed at better places with much bigger and cleaner suites for much much less. All i have to say is this put a damper on our vacation. Read more
