"Clean"
The outside of this hotel and the area were a bit sketchy, but the room was clean and relatively comfortable. This is OK for a one night stay on your way someplace else, but wouldn't recommend it for more then that. Other hotels, with like costs are in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Super 8 - Monticello"
The little service we required was overall very good. The manager was very, very accommodating and nice. The room was very clean and comfortable except for the carpeting which could be updated and cleaner. However, the area wherein the Motel is situated is a very, very depressing area. The whole street/town looks run down, very old and is depressing […] looking. "pretty clean but..."

"Just the basics"

"Ok for the area"
We were happy with the room, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was your typical old hotel/motel bath. everything worked and was decent. Price was a little high for the area. location is pretty rundown. Breakfast offered was ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Adequate, but far from fancy."
I was looking for an inexpensive location close to the racetrack.... this is certainly the one. So great location, really inexpensive, but the hotel has some problems it needs to fix. It's relatively clean and well kept, but the rooms are fairly delapitated, the door for example had a 1" gap at the bottom...and was warped and sticking...and it wasn't […] just my room. The sink was cracked and glued back together, the rug was dirty and the (ground cement) floor uneven. The breakfast choices were minimal, muffin, cereal, coffee, juice, donut....but where's the protein???? Staff was nice and friendly, they just really really need to improve the physical plant.
