The JWM in Chicago was a great surprise. I expected it to be good but it significantly exceeded expectations in every way, particularly in the physical facility. Also the staff could not have been better. Hard to beat. Now don't go and use this to raise rates. TedGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Growing pains - lack of consistency"
I have had the opportunity to stay at this hotel multiple times since it opened. Here are some examples of the varying levels of service I have received: 1) Check-in process - Sometimes I am greeted at the entrance with my key, other times I am not. This is advertised as a feature for platinum members and should be consistent. 2) I have had receptionists […] walk me through every detail of the hotel as though I have not stayed, even though it is clear on the screen in front of them that I have been here before. I expect an efficient check-in process. 3) Room preparation and cleanliness a. Sometimes there are water glasses in the room, and sometimes there are none; b. Sometimes there are water bottles in the room, sometimes not; c. One time I had a bathroom with urine splatters on the toilet. 4) Food service a. Lack of consistency ordering from room service, I have always requested steaks medium. They have arrived ranging from bloody to medium; b. On one occasion, my order was delivered minus the entrée. When the server returned with the entree, the temperature was lukewarm; c. Garnish and tray prep always varies. 5) Gym - The steam room was out of order on my most recent visit. I am surprised a new hotel would have broken facilities already. On a positive note, the staff I have interacted with, especially in the gym, are extremely helpful and professional. "Kjempeflott urbant hotell i Chicago"
Dette var min første reise til Chicago. Jeg er meget tilfreds med oppholdet på JW Marriott. Generelt kjempefint hotell på alle områder... både rom, lobby, bar, restaurant, etc. etc. Du får oppleve et førsteklasses hotell med et servicevennlig personale som yter den service man håper på. Å bo i sentrum av Chicago plasserer deg selvfølgelig i nærheten […] av alt og shoppingmulighetene er derfor unike. Her kan en f. eks spasere nedover mot "Millenium Park" kvartal for kvartal, mens en stikker innom det ene etter det andre shoppingsenteret. Det finnes nok av kjente merkevarebutikker, spesialbutikker, osv. Tro meg... dere finner alt en ønsker, + mer. Forresten... i tillegg til et mega stort TV ved sengen, får du TV integrert i speilet på selveste badet... lol :-) SLÅ DEN! Jeg ønsker definitivt å returnere til dette hotellet.
