I was told when booking there would be a micowave and frig in the room, and they were not present. There could of been a fan in the ceiling in the bathroom, and the bathtub regouted. I reported that the bathroom door was difficult to open or close and it scraped and made a loud noise and woke others in the room up! i was told it was due to the building settling and the doors are scheduled to be removed this summer(8 months from now!). "Comfortable bedding and pillow"

"Hotel is nice but one frontdesk person was rude"
I stayed twice; there is a convenient shuttle to the airport and back. The hotel is clean and serves the purpose of being an airport hotel. One time there was a rude woman at the front desk. I was trying to get my boarding pass printed, and the printer was not working. When I told her about the problem, she barked at me telling me to use the "other […] computer." Well, the other computer was not working, and when I told her that she threatened to get the security! Imagine that! Then mysteriously some maintenance folks appeared, and it took them a while to get the printer fixed. Not sure if it was my accent she did not like, but this was one unpleasant woman. But the other time I stayed there (my first time), the young lady at the front desk was very nice and polite, and I am sure would not have asked me to fix any computer problems on my own :-) I do have an accent although I speak English fluently. Nice stay but was a little disappointed that we had to walk at least a block through the parking lot after driving all over it looking for parking. Then we got a parking charge for both days. "Great hotel and service"
After our first visit, my family with two young kids now always stay at this hotel when in Chicago. It is reasonably priced, especially given the better than average breakfast buffet and extra bedroom with doors that close. Staff are all friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It is easy (relative to Chicago-land) to drive downtown, over to Michigan […] and Indiana, and up to O'Hare where we always fly into. It is walking distance to a great pizza place called Giordanos (get the stuffed pizza), Starbucks, TGI Fridays, Burger King, Dunkin' Donuts, and a McDonalds with an indoor playscape. Their HDTVs have all the connections for game systems / media players (although we did not try). Free WiFi reaches all the way to the ends of the building and was fast enough for me to remote control my servers back home. This hotel is excellent and I highly recommend it. Room and common areas were extremely clean, staff is attentive and friendly and the free breakfast is outstanding. Great value. And the Midway Hotels offer the best option for visiting Chicago if you are travelling by car. The complex includes about nine hotels and three restaurants in a self-contained […] area. Daily parking is $13, but you get a free shuttle the runs around the clock to Midway. From the terminal it is a short walk to the CTA Orange line. We purchased the $14 3 day CTA pass and it worked out great. Everything about this trip was outstanding. We ate at two of the restaurants on site, TGI Friday's and Dempsey's, and both were excellent and reasonably priced. Dempsey's is a gem, not busy, great prices and service and excellent food. The nearby neighborhood is not bad (I go for long morning runs and I felt perfectly safe), and there are additional restaurants and shopping centers within a few blocks.
