This was a great little bed and breakfast, located in a very cool part of Chicago. It was about a block north of the Vic theatre, and right around the... corner from an L station with access to the brown, red, and purple lines. The room was small and basic, but clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and fresh. I had one of the rooms with a private bathroom, which I accessed by walking down the hall and unlocking with a key. Even though there was no parking garage, they provided passes for street parking in the neighborhood, and there was free access to the gym next door. The innkeeper was polite and accommodating. Overall everything was clean considering this is a very old building. The rooms were small and basic, but if you want to stay somewhere closer to the loop than a hotel out by the airport and have a budget of less than $200 you can expect a giant suite. And who really spends that much time in their room when you're visiting Chicago? Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 12, 2012
