    We stayed three nights. Check in was a breeze, hotel was clean and overall service was great. However, the no control of the temperature was real negative... during our stay. Our room was between 70 and 74 degrees. We actually checked out a few hours before check out time because the room was hot. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to Millienium Park, Navy Peir, shopping on Michigan Ave and more. We actually walked across the street and caught a boat ride tour through Chicago and Lake Michigan.     Views of the Chicago, Ill., skyline are captured from the Club Quarters Wacker at Michigan, the Windy City's landmark tower hotel located along the Chicago River at Wacker Street and Michigan Avenue. This hotel stands one block from the NBC Tower and across the river from the Wrigley Building and the Tribune Tower.

    Hotel Features.
    Fully restored to its historic grandeur, the Club Quarters, Wacker at Michigan showcases neo-Gothic architecture, marble floors and brass fittings in the lobby. Bacino's Italian Bistro & Pizzeria, with casual, split-level seating that overlooks the Chicago River, serves deep dish pizzas daily spun from the freshest ingredients and home-made sauce. This members-only hotel features a bi-level club room and a marble staircase that ascends to a business center with computer stations. The hotel clubroom offers complimentary coffee and newspapers. Wireless Internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel. Function space accommodates up to 40 people. Recreational amenities include a fitness room that contains cardiovascular and weight-training equipment. Front-desk staff offers tour assistance 24 hours a day.

    The 41-story Club Quarters, Wacker at Michigan offers 240 guestrooms that overlook Michigan Avenue or the Chicago River. All rooms offer encyclopedias, almanacs and dictionaries. Amenities include satellite TV and iPod docking stations. Décor details include blue-and-green checkered fabrics. Standard rooms feature bathrooms with showers only, while suites contain shower/tub combinations. Suites also are furnished with sofa bed and feature kitchenettes.     The hotel (Club Quarters) is on a "2 pipe" system, meaning the A/C isn't available until the system is switched over from winter. Therefore, the temp of our room remained between 74-78 degrees (because it was warm & sunny outside). The first offer of "bring up a fan" was not acceptable so the staff did allow us to move to a different hotel at no cost […] (the River Hotel, attached to Club Quarters).     Great stay! Great view of the river. At check in, we were asked if we wanted to upgrade for a better view glad we did! For next time I will ask about softness of bed it was pretty hard by my standards but the hubby liked it.

    The price was great and cleanliness and comfort were not sacrificed! Rooms are small, but cozy and very nice! FYI - valet parking may seem steep, but you can leave your car until 6pm the next day, even after you check out at noon. Very convenient, especially if you are wanting to take in the sights all within walking distance!

    My girlfriend and I had the worst night of sleep of all time. Neither one of us could get comfortable and we tossed and turned all night. The hotel is nice, a great part of town, but the hotel beds must be made of bricks.

    This hotel is right smack in downtown, has excellent staff, a great pizza & Italian restaurant and bar downstairs, and offers amazing views of the river and surrounding skyscrapers. This hotel is a historic skyscraper, itself! The price was excellent, and the WiFi is free, as well as that the parking rate they offer beats anywhere else in town!

    The club quarters provided a cute little room for our last nite in Chicago. It is right on Wacker at the Chicago River and in walking distance to many attractions. Had a great time, no car necessary. Could have used some extra pillows and if you like cold air conditioning this is the place.

    Super location and very nice room at a reasonable price for the Loop. Computer issues at check-in led to a long line but staff did all they could to keep us informed. Superb view from corner Wacker/Michigan and nicely appointed yet small room. Would stay again.

    It was very clean and convenient for Bike the Drive 2012. Bikes can be stored in the room, plenty of space, or in a secure luggage room. Staff is available 24/7 to help with the rooms. Location was perfect. On the North / West side the windows face down the Chicago River and it is very pretty.

    My stay was to see a movie and relax with my girlfriend. The room was ok. The bed was hard not what were used to. Had to call down for extra pillows. They brought them up with no problem. Room was over priced even with the hotels price.
