The Conrad Chicago is located on the Magnificent Mile, just off of Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Ill. A pedestrian bridge connects the hotel to the Shops at North Bridge. The hotel is one block from the Tribune Tower and the Wrigley Building. One-half mile away are the Chicago Loop business and theater districts and Lake Michigan. The Art Institute of Chicago, Merchandise Mart and Navy Pier are one mile away. Bus and subway stations are two blocks from the hotel.

There is an on-site Terrace Restaurant and Bar, a café and a fitness facility. Other amenities include a 12,000-square-foot business center with 13 meeting/conference rooms, audio-visual equipment and business services and complimentary wired/wireless high-speed Internet access in public areas. A ballroom, event catering and banquet facilities are available. The desk has a multi-lingual staff, currency exchange, and concierge service as well as a safe-deposit box and there is ATM banking on site. Oak Street Beach is popular for sunbathing and swimming during summer months, when lifeguards are on duty. Five miles from the hotel, the Sydney R. Marovitz golf course offers a challenging and scenic nine-hole course along Lake Michigan.

Hotel itself felt very much like a 3 star hotel. This property is connected to Nordstrom in a top notch location near Michigan Avenue. The room is decent size, the bed was fairly comfortable and the bathroom is good size as well. Unfortunately, that is where my positive review stops. This hotel is in much need of updating. It felt a bit dirty. The walls […] have patches on them. The bedding did not appear to be the standard Hilton bedding. The bathrooms were old, the shower water pressure is non-existent. My Mom, sisters and I had a great stay at the Conrad . We hopped on a train to Chicago from Milwaukee to shop for the weekend and celebrate my Mom's 77th Birthday. We loved our stay here... Were able to check in early, the beds were beautifully comfortable, the room was big! and so was the bathroom. Excellent location, great restaurants nearby, and the bonus was being able to go mall shopping without having to step outside as it is connected to the hotel. And all the staff were super friendly. Had a wonderful experience. Location is great. Room was very clean. Not much of a view though. Had a small issue with TV (had to be replaced) and On Demand (could not get clear reception for the movie selected.) But these were handled very efficiently. Desk staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Conrad to experience Chicago at Christmastime. The location was terriffic for walking and shopping the Magnificent Mile. "Excellent Location - Great for adults and with kis"
Our stay was excellent. The Conrad was in a perfect location - so close to walk to anywhere. It was very handy with Nordstrom's right there. It was only a couple blocks from the Red Line (CTA Train) which was a super cheap and easy trip to the airport. Rooms were spacious - and the (2) double beds were large enough for two adults - and very comfortable. […] The bathroom was huge with a very nice, large shower. Restaurant in the hotel was a little pricy - but we enjoyed easily getting into any restaurant on Michigan Ave or Grand Ave with ease.
