"Close to Union Station"

"Awesome Hotel! Loved the Pool on the Roof!!"
I have stayed in Chicago with my family over the years dozens of times and this is our new favorite hotel!! The location is perfect, so close to the Sears Tower with breathtaking views of the skyscrapers from the roof where the pool is located and we loved sunbathing and swimming with our kids while taking in the beautiful scenery and setting sun, it […] was just awesome! The rooms were nice and big and clean and good sized bathrooms. The only downside was there were no refrigerators or microwaves which are a must when traveling with young kids but we made due with the ice in the sink to keep the milk cool for our little one. The staff was very nice, however the guy at the receptionist desk kind gave us some attitude for not doing valet parking. There is self park lot connected to the hotel and it says $20 a day for hotel guests and then the guy gives us attitude as the are 'not affiliated' at all with the lot however the ramp from the hotel leads directly to the self park lot and the valet is $35 so why pay nearly double for parking? Another nice thing is there are two restaurants connected to the hotel. One has a bar, which my wife and I enjoyed, and they have good subs and pizza there and then there is a breakfast place, Sunnys, which had good food also the next morning. Great hotel, good rate, great pool on the roof, great location right off the highway, cheap parking, lots of good stuff about this place, highly recommend staying here! "good for a quick trip"
The hotel itself overall was nice. It felt clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The location is in a safe neighborhood but not really too near anything interesting. We were hoping to take a stroll with our 14 mo old to see some sights and grab some dinner but realized there really wasn't anything close enough. "Not what I really expected for the what we paid"
I won't stay there again, the ac didn't work in one of the rooms and WE had to request a fan to TRY keep my kids cool. Also they have different price quotes on parking.
