Great section of town. The hotel staff was courteous and professional. Many of the public spaces were under construction, but that did not bother us, as there was no extraneous noise, dust, or other distraction from our stay. We stayed in a 2 room suite, which was clean, but tired in appearance. There were stains on the sofa and rug. The bathroom tile […] had been caulked multiple times, somewhat sloppily. Poor water pressure. The sliding door to the bathroom stuck and rattled, which was not welcome to those still sleeping when one wished to use the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Omni Chicago. It is as convenient to all the sights as you can be. Our room was on the corner of Huron and Michigan so we were able to enjoy the Christmas lights up and down Michigan. We went there for a long weekend with our kids and were greeted immedately with exploring backpacks for the kids, which they loved. […] We received cookies and milk during our first evening. The pool was clean and outfitted with a few water toys that the kids enjoyed. The whole lobby area was permeated with the smell of pine, which Ioved. Room wasn't quite what we had expected ..... thought we had 2 separate bedrooms/bathrooms in our suite instead of 2 beds in one bedroom with 1 adjoining bathroom. Listing could have been more specific. Would have liked screens on the bedroom windows. My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The staff was outstanding from the front desk to the concierge to the housekeeping staff. I sent my shirt to be dry cleaned. I made a mistake on the room number. It wasn't delivered that night as expected. However, housekeeping didn't send it to the wrong room. They delivered it the next morning after […] I called and corrected the room number. They chose not to charge me and gave me credits for the breakfast buffet. Outstanding service. To check-in, you will need to take the elevator to the 3rd floor. To get to your room, you will need to proceed to take the elevator to the 3rd floor, then go to another set of elevators around the corner to get to your floor. Although no big deal, it was sort of inconvenient. The rooms are nice. Flat screen in the living room but not in the bedroom […] (a tube TV instead which you cannot turn left or right - the TV is not centered in front of the bed, and instead located in a corner) - unsure if other rooms are like this. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Great location - Apple and Niketown are directly across the street, as well as many other great stores. 7-Eleven and Walgreens are within 2 blocks. Before retirement, I traveled about two weeks during the month and stayed at just about every high end hotel. Never have I experienced better service or a staff that was more friendly, accomodating and well trained. They were truly impressive and I would not think of staying at another hotel in Chicago because of their extraordinary service.

I stayed at Omni with my husband and 18 month old daughter. I called ahead to request early check in so she could get her afternoon nap in. When we arrived at noon (the time we were told our early check in would be) they said it wasn't ready but should be shortly. Two and a half hours later our room was finally ready. This hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location for most leisure activities in downtown Chicago. The only disapointment we had was breakfast. The hotel offers either a buffet or off the menu. Two of my children went with the buffet and the rest of us ordered off the menu. It took 45 minutes to get an omelet, a bowl of cereal and a bowl of […] berries; and I sent the omelet back because it was cold. I thought breakfast was overpriced. We was disappointed that the hot tub in the fitness area was not working. We figured that a hotel as expensive as this one to stay at would have everything working properly. Chicago is a huge town with a lot ot see, which involed a lot of walking. The hot tub would have been nice to relax those pains away in.

Excellent location. Convenient to public transportation or taxi. Minutes of bus ride to get to the loop.Close to Water Tower & John Hancock Center. If you don't want to pay for $10.00 a bottle hotel water, you can get your own water /snacks about 2 blocks from the hotel at Walgreens. The hotel front desk personnel are very helpful and friendly except […] one guy his name starts with Car----. he has a little attitude. The front desk guy with Dark hair good looking is super nice , knowledgeable about the hotel policy & helpful. Make sure when you check in your room you see there's a big bottle of water sitting on the counter. Otherwise, when you check out you will see it on your bill. In my case, I think the guest before me used the water and the maid forgot to replenish it and they charged me for it. They also charged me for a long distance call for $3.00. I told them I have a cell phone and didn't have to use the hotel phone. I was lucky enough the nice front desk lady named (Saf----) have the charge removed without question. Overall it's a very nice and spacious hotel except they may have to soon replace the carpet. I will definitely stay again at Omni. I had a great experience at the Philadelphia Omni last year and that's why I chose Omni Chicago to stay this year. Read more

We loved our Omni suite - furnishings were beautiful and beds were as comfortable as any 4 or 5 star hotel. Enjoyed the Wolfgang Puck coffee provided daily. Work-out room (free unlike most other Chicago hotels) offered up-to-date equipment and had a great array of free weights. Pool is just through the locker room. The Omni Chicago is located right in the middle of all the great shopping and dining on the Magnificent Mile. The service is outstanding and the rooms are a nice size and up to date. The hidden gem at the Omni is the 676 restaurant overlooking Michigan Ave. The hotel treats kids very special. We will stay here again.

Excellent Hotel. We stay in downtown Chicago, at least, once a year, and this was one of our best experiences, yet. The staff really made the stay the best. The "676 Restaurant" particularly, is supreme. The Omni is well situated for getting anywhere in downtown Chicago, by foot or cab.

Beginning with the doorman Oliver who was very nice and definitely my three daughters favortit. There is also a wonderful man who is the concierge in the evenings I did not get his name but he was very, very knowledgeable and was a great resource. , The hotel was very clean, which I appreciate. There were a couple of things that were a bit of a downer […] about the hotel. First was a $200 deposit that was required for the minibar, which was totally unexpected and because we paid with a debit card this money was taken from the bank account, it was refunded two days later.
